Cecelia Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS, CECELIA M. (nee Miller), 78 - of Absecon, died Monday, November 12, 2007 following a courageous battle with lung cancer at home, surrounded by her loving family. Cecelia was born in Hillside, and moved to Absecon in 1962. She was a graduate of Hillside High School Class of 1947. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, painting, gardening, and walks on the beach, watching the sunsets. She is survived by her husband, John; children, Karen Williams, Patricia (Ronald) Stern, John (Christine) Williams, and Anne Marie (Jeff) Loreaux; her grandchildren, Joshua and his wife Jennifer, Nicholas, Rachael, Randall, Andrew, Daniel, Zachary, Gregory, and Elizabeth; and great grandson, Joshua; as well as her special niece, Kathleen Birch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 591 New Jersey Ave., Absecon, with burial to follow in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon and on Friday morning from 9-10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 6727 Delilah Rd., Egg Harbor Twsp., NJ 08234.
