Isaac Winrow Obituary

WINROW, ISAAC GARNETT - departed this life on November 19, 2007 after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Bridgeton. While growing up he was an avid sports enthusiast and an excellent athlete. He joined the U.S. Air Force after graduation serving from 1954-1958. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for the next 50 years retiring as Postmaster at the Milmay office. He was also an entrepreneur and licensed real estate broker. An active member of the Vineland Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses he served as a Ministerial Servant. He is survived by a son Garnett and his wife Helen and a granddaughter, Cadhla of Vineland; two brothers, Mike of Bridgeton and Ord of Salem; three sisters, Mint and her husband Herb of Atlantic City, Bev and her husband George of DE and Vail and her husband Glenn of FL; a sister in law, Odelle (Sonny) of Bridgeton and a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones. Ike was predeceased by his father and mother, Howard and Oleta Winrow, two sisters, Doris (Jack) and Selma and one brother, Sonny. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 24th at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 225 East Oak Road, Vineland. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Mr. Winrow's memory be made out to the English Vineland Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 225 East Oak Road, Vineland, NJ 08360. Arrangements are under the direction of the Padgett Funeral Home, Upper Deerfield Township.
