Gordon Neil Obituary



NEIL, GORDON S. SR., 71 - of Hammonton, died on Thursday in Cooper University Medical Center, Camden. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong area resident. He was a Forest Fire Warden with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. Mr. Neil was a member of the Nesco Sportsman Gunning Club in Nesco. He was predeceased by his son: Johnny Boy Neil. Mr. Neil is survived by his wife: Bessie (nee Ford) Neil of Hammonton; six children: Gordon S. (Tag) Neil, Jr. and his wife Jodi of Leeds Point; Sandra Lee Carter and her husband Edward of Williamstown; Deanna DeMarco and her husband Brian of Mullica; Kathy Neil of Nesco; Tom Neil; Tracey Neil; two sisters: Sandra Santora and Patricia Sbarra and her husband Charles, all of Hammonton and eight grandchildren. A viewing will be held Monday 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Pleasant Mills Cemetery.
