Nick was my late fathers best friend, he's also one of my best friends father, so I had the pleasure of knowing him pretty well. He was fun to be with from when I was 5 right through to 55, most memories with Nick just force me to smile. Nick was one of the truly great men you meet in one lifetime. He lived and loved life to the max, and he shared it with everyone he could. Many many more benefitted from his leadership in more organizations to help others than anyone I've ever known, by a large margin. Yes, we lost a truly great man.
