Wendell Young Obituary
YOUNG, WENDELL PHILLIP, JR. - formerly of Atlantic City, passed on November 25, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. in Lawrenceville, GA, where he resided for the last 12 years. Wendell graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1950. Then he enlisted in the United States Air Force from which he was Honorably Discharged. Surviving his passing are: his loving wife, Gwendolyn Carol Young (Morton); son, Aaron P. Young; daughters; Denise Palmer and Lynn Gregory; sister, Elaine Kelly; brother, Kenny Young; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Irene Morton; sister-in-law, Audrey Walker; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held December 1, 2007, at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Norcross, GA. Viewing will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2007, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Greenidge Funeral Home, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City. Interment to follow in The Atlantic City Cemetery, Greenwood Section, Pleasantville.
