Clifton Hoffman Obituary

HOFFMAN, CLIFTON R. 73 - of Millville, passed away Saturday morning December 1, 2007 at the Genesis Millville Center. He was a lifelong resident of Millville. Clifton retired from Atlantic City Electric Co. after 37 years, where he worked as a chief work leader. During his career, he worked at the Bridgeton, Glassboro and Hammonton Divisions. He was predeceased by his sister, Jaunice Demaris and nephew Victor. Clifton is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Patricia (Peterson) Hoffman; one son, Clifton J. and his wife Angelic, two daughters, Annette L. Hoffman and Kathleen M. Crispo and her husband James; four sisters, Anna Mae Rhubart and husband John, Rhoda Vertolli, Elga Schipane and husband William, and LaWanda Gajdos; one brother Lemuel John Hoffman and wife Debbie; and five grandchildren, Clifton J. Jr., Everett, Garrett and Michael Hoffman and Eric Crispo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Clifton's funeral service 12 Noon Wednesday at the Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing from 11am to 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Clifton's memory to the American Heart Assn. , the American Lung Assn., or the American Cancer Society. Expressions of sympathy may be emailed to [email protected].
