Robert Bridges Obituary



BRIDGES, ROBERT LYLE, 77 - on December 2, 2007. Born June 5, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Robert Bridges and the late Frances Bridges, he resided in Cape May for the last eight years. He previously lived in Bedminster, and Bernardsville. Robert was an Engineer with Airco Industrial Gases He served in the US Army during the Korean War Survived by wife, Gail A. Bridges of Cape May; son, Robert Anthony Bridges and his wife Colleen of Front Royal, VA, Michael Lyle Bridges and his wife Kathryn of Long Valley; grandchildren: Amy and Ashley Bridges, Katlyn, Kristin and Collin Bridges; sisters, Jane Bridges Dennard of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, Sarah Bridges Salwen of Falls Church, VA. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday December 7th from 10:30am-11am at the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Cape May, NJ followed by a memorial service at 11am at the church. Interment will be held privately. Memorial Donations may be made to: Church of the Advent Memorial Fund, Po Box 261, Cape May, NJ 08204 or the American Cancer Society 669 Littleton Rd., Parsippany, NJ 07054.
