Rose Landau Obituary

Rose 'Cindy' W. Landau, 73, of Colonial Heights, died Friday, August 22, 2008 at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg. Mrs. Landau, formerly of Canada, was a retired employee of Titmus Optical, and was the widow of Horst Landau.

Mrs. Landau is survived by two sisters-in-law, Margot Howe of Alabama and Eva Stephan of Canada; three nephews, Ollie Stephan and Michael Stephan, both of Canada, and Richard C. Howe of Texas; two nieces, Yvonne Welch of Alabama and Jeannette Poteet; dear friends, Ed & Elizabeth Strother, Rachel Walker, and Kathy Holley; caregivers, Bridgett Sills, Angelina Sills, JoAnn Bassett, and Evelyn Pegram.

A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Va. Flowers are welcome or donations can be made to the Colonial Height SPCA, 201 Temple Ave., Colonial Heights, VA 23834
