I was so sorry to hear of Brett's passing. I am also sorry that I couldn't be present to remember him with your family. He brought so much love and beauty to the world, including to my life. I am blessed to have known him as well as his brother. I will miss them both dearly. Each of you is in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Family,
The first thought that comes to mind when I think of Brett, is how much happiness he brought to MY life while he was here at UVA. My prayers are that a Respiratory Therapist, I was able to do the same for him. Knowing Brett is experiencing more freedom now, than he ever had here on earth in a body that was failing him, I pray will help to lift your spirits. Please know that your family is in my prayers, as Brett will now always be in my heart.

I was saddened to hear Brett's passing away. He had become a part of my daily life. I watched and suffered along with him. He cried and I cried. We had to give each other our daily hugs while he was here at the hospital. I am truly sorry for your loss. He was a strong young man. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and your family in your time of loss

Dear Lisa, Paul & Family
Through out Brett's illness my prayers and those of my church have been lifted up to the Father on your behalf. Brett was a wonderful young man, and I will miss him. Remember at this difficult time to lean on the Father for he will lift you up. I know that it won't be easy, it doesn't seem fair that someone so precious as Brett is gone, but only God knows why he took Brett so soon. Please know that I will continue to offer prayers up for you all.
