Sometimes I wonder if God thinks
I ask Him for too much.
Forgive me, Lord, for what I feel,
I seem so out of touch.
Oft times I feel a little shy
When problems of the day
Start crowding in upon my mind
And hurt gets in the way.
You know my needs before I ask
When empty that I seem,
You Know the way in which I feel,
You share my every dream.
Forgive me, Lord, My doubts and fears.
And if I ask too much,
My room is quiet and I can pray....
I want to keep in touch.

Greetings family and friends,
My deepest condolences are with each of you at this time. My prayers of peace and comfort are with you not only now, but at the those times in the future when the fond memories of momma, sister, auntie, grandma, daughter, and friend arise. My memories of growing up in Fifth Ward, Whop City, Uptown would not be complete without the memories of visiting the house on the corner of Lawrence and Pine Streets when I was a little girl hanging out with Cheryl and telling Keith and Kermit, "get back in the yard" , "leave us alone" or Cheryl calling out to Miss Dot saying, "Ma, call Keith and Kermit!!!" and Miss Dot would call to them to leave us alone. I have fond memories of those times when I would meet up with her after becoming an adult and receiving her continued blessings and well wishes. She's a special woman and shall forever be in the hearts of many. God bless each of you.

Nature
As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.

My prayers go out to you and your family at the loss of our Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Cousin, and Friend. She is in God's care now and what better care could we ever ask for her? Now I pray for your comfort in the days ahead. May God bless you and keep you in His tender care and love for all eternity.
