Ella Frye Obituary

Ella Mae Frye, 71, of Petersburg, departed this life on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Margaret Ward Utterback; and her husband, Gilbert H. Frye.

Ella is survived by her sons, John G. Taylor and Michael W. Taylor (Marty); sister, Betty Wilhoit; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at Blandford Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

John, Mike, we are very sorry to hear of the death of your mother. Our prayers & thoughts are with you. Went by J T Morriss tonight (Tuesday) & paid our respects.

Mike & John,
I am saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. I never got to meet her, but hearing the stories from her friends at the Legion, I know she was a well loved Lady.
