A Mother is the heart of you,
A rose to remember is she,
Surprise her on this Mother’s Day,
A hug or kiss for her beauty.

A Mother’s love is always there,
How she emits a sweet fragrance,
She’s special in the Lord’s Eye too,
Be blessed in any circumstance.

A Mother’s touch is from the Lord,
A rose to remember is rare,
Sweet, lovely and precious to hold,
Give love ‘for she climbs Heaven’s Stair.

A Mother’s hand I long to hold,
And I ne’er missed A Mother’s Day,
Nor any, to say ‘I love you,’
I wish she were here with her way.

Do you understand Mothers’ love,
A rose to remember’s so sweet,
Loving, giving all her being,
She was the first one you did greet.

My Mother’s been in Heaven years,
I miss her as much as ever,
She's my beautiful desired rose,
Oh, her love will never sever.
Hopscotch,
Jumping rope,
Fielding dreams,
Full of hope,

Merry Go Round,
Marble games,
Petty Quarrels,
Casting blame.

Sliding boards,
Playing tag,
Yearn the future,
Today's a drag.

Ponytails,
Poodle skirts,
Boys are cool,
Girls are flirts.

Drive in movie,
Puppy love,
Teenage idols,
Long white gloves.

Wedding gowns,
Baby's birth,
Living life,
For all it's worth.

Middle age,
Work till dawn,
Wonder where,
Time has gone.

Kids in college,
Retirement near,
Bleak future,
Filled with fear.

Health Failing
Hope it will last,
Spending time,
Yearning the past.

Hopscotch
Jumping rope,
Diminished dreams,
Vanished hope.
As if the years had not come and gone,
I can still see our happy home,
It’s evening now; the days work done,
To read the Bible and Pray, the time had come.

We gather ‘round Daddy, a child on his knee,
Open Bible in hand, we all try to see,
From where we would read in the Bible tonight,
But it did not matter; anywhere’s alright.

We would be taught and taught very well,
Look toward Heaven, shun things of Hell,
After reading the Bible, we’d fall on our knees,
Pray to God above and ask him to Please.

Keep us all safe from harm through the night,
And again as we wake with the morning light,
Before breakfast, we’re on our knees to Pray,
And thank God for giving us another day.

Oh! How I long for times such as these,
To hear MY DADDY Pray, as I sat on his knee,
But even though these times I can not regain,
Deep in my heart his teachings remain.

Eyes of green, I say Blue,
No matter the color or the hue,
Eyes that are kind in every way,
Windows to the soul, hear what they say.

A heart that is filled with compassion and love,
A romantic staring into the stars above,
Her smile as big as the laugh that outpours,
Personality that just soars and soars.

Strong in body, strong in mind,
Intelligence of the highest kind,
Beauty that dwells inside and out,
Does she really see what she's all about?

Take a deep look into the windows of her soul,
You will find a wonderful person inside who is whole,
She is many different things to those who are near,
A great friend to me and to my heart very dear.

If we could trade eyes,
But for a moment in time,
Then she could see,
All is sublime.
I heard a voice speak soft and low,
As I lay upon my bed,
I felt such anguish in my heart,
As the voice so softly said.

Dear child of mine, I speak to you,
The time is drawing near,
Where millions of souls will be lost,
And who is there to care.

You must search to find a wandering soul,
And bring them home again,
Bring them back to the arms of Jesus,
Where angels will attend.

I’m calling you home, just one last time,
Then the door of mercy will close,
And I will come back to the take my own,
Where no more will they ever roam.

The time is now, do not delay,
Lay your all on the altar today,
For I am preparing a mansion of gold,
Where the angels of mine will stay.
I light this candle
In your name
Say a Prayer
Lord keep me sane.

Loving you now
As I did then
Missing you
I can't contend.

Your body so weak
with spirits low
I was so selfish
Please don't go.

Now all alone
I think of you
Oh, my love
God's promise is true.

Father as I sit and meditate
My mind and soul do await.
For the beauty You bring to me
Through spiritual eyes I see.

The brightness of Your Light
That brings Your beauty into sight.
Your fellowship is such a joy to me
I open my heart to Thee.

As I lift my hands to You
My heart You do renew.
Your Love You put into my soul
That's Your ultimate goal.

You touch the part of me
That is only made for Thee.
And never been touched before.
'Tis You that I adore.

Your Love is ever filling
Into my heart it's spilling.
As I call out for more
And widely throw open the door.

I dreamed I went to heaven,
And sang around the throne,
I dreamed I met the angels,
And friends I knew from home.

They all looked very happy,
Their faces full of joy,
No look of sorrow on each face,
They lit up just like the sky.

And then I saw my Jesus,
The Shepherd of all lambs,
Then I knelt down at His feet,
Oh such peace and calm.

All my anguish then vanished away,
A brand new body was mine.
I was clothed in heavenly garments,
That was breathtaking and divine.

I clung to Jesus with my life,
He was glad to see me there,
I knew He was not pretending,
For I could feel no fear.

He told me then I must go back,
My time was not yet due,
Don’t despair my precious child,
I will come back for you.

It was there I awaken in my bed,
And my heart was oh, so sad,
For I remembered seeing heaven,
And oh the joy I had.

Then Jesus softly spoke to me,
I will guide you all the way,
Until that time I come for you,
And bring you home to stay.

What A Friend We Have In Jesus

What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilage to carry
Ev'rything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Ev'rything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer:
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus Knows our every weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Saviour, still our refuge;
Take it to the Lord in prayer:
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
In His arms He'll take and shield thee;
Thou wilt find a solace there.

JAMES AND WANDA DAY

September 15, 2008

I don't know about tomorrow,
I just live from day to day.
And I don't borrow from the sunshine
'Cause the skies might turn to grey.

And I don't worry about the future,
'Cause I know what Jesus said,
And today I'm gonna walk right beside him
'Cause he's the one who knows what is ahead.

There are things about tomorrow
That I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.

And each step is getting brighter
As the golden stairs I climb.
And every burden is getting lighter
And all the clouds, their silver line.

And, I'll bet the sun it's always shining
And no tears will ever dim the eye
And the ending of the rainbow
Where the mountains, they touch the sky.

There are many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.
Yes I know who holds my hand.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
