Cynthia has been such an inspiration and loving friend to me. Her strength and attitude through her illness was unbelievable. I was confident she would pull through but I suppose God had a better plan. I'll always cherish our talks, laughs and the personal issues we shared together. I know she is an angel watching over us. I feel her presence everyday when I think of her. The Miller family should be very proud of Cynthia, she was truly a blessed person.

Cynthia was a very nice and helpful coworker. I worked with Cynthia for 15 years and during that time she assisted me on many occasions while I worked at the Newport News Tower. We recently spoke when I relocated to Douglasville, GA for a new job and was apprehensive about the move. Cynithia called me with words of encouragement and helped to calm my fears. I will miss her and our meeting for the first time face to face. She will always remain in my heart and my mind for her candidness and loving heart.

Cynthia showed us all how to pick up our cross and follow Christ. I so admired her in her journey with cancer. As a survivor, I know how hard it was to get up every day and go on...but she did it with such grace and style. I am so proud to have known her and glad that she is where she belongs....with our Redeemer. You raised one strong woman. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My sincerest condolescenses to the family of Cynthia Miller
She was a caring person and so very happy. I know she will be missed but I am content to know that she is not suffering anymore. I, too, am a mother and I really feel for her mother because the lost of a child is so great when you bring a child into the world and you take care of them from baby to adult.

The bible says in 2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept the faith” To those in Christ Jesus, death is the release from the imprisonment of this world, and though Cynthia’s departure brings sadness and grief to those left behind, the memories she left brings joy to all who knew her.
I will truly miss Cynthia, She was my team leader and after working so closely with her, I came to know her both professionally and personally. If you knew Cynthia, sometimes she would say “that’s the New York coming out of me” and it would be so funny. I appreciate all that she taught me and will always cherish the memories.

CYNTHIA IS IN THE ARMS OF GOD
We don't like to say good-bye to those whom we love. Whether it be at work or a cemetery, separation is tough. It is right for us to weep, but there is no need for us to despair. They had pain here. They have no pain there. They struggled here. They will not struggle there. You and I might wonder why God took them home. But they don't. They understand. They are, at this very moment, at peace in the presence of God....
When it is cold on earth, we can take comfort in knowing that our loved ones are in the warm arms of God. And when Christ comes, we will hold them, too.
Everyone who lives believes in me will never die

I was waiting in port for my ship to sail
I thought I would pass some time
So I took a walk along the beach really nothing in mind
Took off my shoes and walked barefoot on the sand
And thought to myself this place is really paradise
Then I saw her sitting on the beach she was smiling at me
I walked up to her and asked to sit down she said ok to me
I asked her why she was smiling
She said she'd been waiting for a long time
Now the day had arrived and I was here in paradise
Well we walked along the beach hand in hand on the golden sand
We talked until the moon was high and I held her tight
Then I kissed her and underneath the stars above
I swore my love and made this vow
That I would never leave her or our paradise
We got married on the beach where we first met
Built a house on the bay over looking the sea
We watch each sun set
Our family has grown and each day is even better in paradise
I couldn't ask for more you see for I live in paradise
Oh we talked a while and walked hand in hand on the golden sand
Until the moon was high and I held her tight
Then I kissed her and under the stars above I swore my love
And made this vow that I would always be there with her in paradise

Lord I'm tossed on life's sea,
I feel Your strong hand holding me,
Looking into the sky so blue,
Thank You Lord, my strength I renew.
My best I give to You dear Lord
Your guiding hand is protecting me.
I praise You Lord as my ship I sail,
You are my life, My holy grail.
Wherever I go Lord Your hand guides me
I will trust You till I reach heaven's shore,
Sailing through life's stormy sea,
God's guiding hand is holding me.
Strong surges and billows roll
And the clouds are hanging low.
While my ship sails to it's homeland,
I will hold to God's unchanging hand.

As I look beyond today's world
To see what the Lord would have me see
I see a place filled with love,
Peace and tranquility.
As I walk beside the ocean
With the white sand between my toes
I smell the exotic fragrances
More beautiful than a rose.
I hear symphonies in my ears
Sweet melodies and tones
I've never heard before
I feel a certain sadness, yet happiness,
That I feel to my very core.
I hear a gentle voice calling,
"Come closer so that you can hear,
Tell the people that I love them,
They'll understand when they reach this sphere."
"You are a messenger of my Love,
Please share it with all you know,
You are one of my chosen few,
Listen and I will teach you to grow."
"Be still and wait for my voice,
But write in great detail,
For I want the world to know
My hands bear the marks of the nail."
"I did this for them
So they would see
Their life has no meaning
Without the likes of me."
"Don't hesitate to spread my Word,
No matter how incompetent you may feel,
I will give you the language
As long as you spread my appeal."
"The world will come to an end,
And that's where I come in,
If you have chosen My way of life,
You will be one of those to win."
"You'll have a place in Heaven
Right with my Father and Me,
You'll feel love as never before
From all past, you'll be set free."
"If you love me, please don't wait.
I'm coming soon, this I promise,
I'll take all you believe and trust.
There will be no compromise."
"Time is short, so come to me now,
My Word will show you the Way.
Love as you've never loved before,
Because you may not have another day."

Through the clouds that gather over,
I can seen a glimpse of light,
And it shines with eternal glory there,
In the darkness of the night.
It must be the light of Jesus’ love,
Showing me it will be all right,
And He will bring me through it all,
If I help Him in the fight.
The clouds at times, are heavy,
And it shuts out all the view,
Of all the sparkling beauty here,
That God made for me and you.
Even though the clouds do linger,
Leaving not a hope in sight,
It’s then the love of light of Jesus,
Makes everything turn bright.

The delicate perfection
Can be seen by all
As she walks alone
In the monastery halls.
She was only eighteen
When she fell in love
With a young man
Chosen from above.
They met quite by chance
It was love at first sight
It stirred his feelings
Caused quite a plight.
He was a man of God
What was he to do
His mind, all confused
With feelings, all so new.
He paced the floor for days
Then he was found dead
A white rose beside him
And a good-bye note on his bed.
Now Rose is so overcome
With hurt and unbelief
Tears streaming to no end
What is she to do with her grief?
I cannot live without him
I've made up my mind
He was the man for me
He was one of a kind.
The monks see her often now
In her long white gown
She looks for him still
While appearing all around.
There is a certain sadness
You can see in her blue eyes
She still has a loneliness
As she waits for his reply.
The monks pray for her soul
They see her where ever she goes
Now and then, they shed a tear
As they pray for *God's White Rose*.

An Old Rugged Cross, was built from a tree,
It should have been built for you and for me.
How can one say, that they don’t care,
When you vision Him, hanging there.
Three nails pierced His flesh,
Each hand and in His feet,
A sword pierced His side,
And given vinegar to eat.
He sacrificed, His life that we might live,
It was our ransom, that He paid,
And it was for us all, because He loved us so,
His life He freely gave.
He could have come down from that Cross,
He had the power we all know,
But to fulfill the plan of God,
To the Cross, He knew that He must go.
He could have called a host of angels,
But knew what He must do,
He loved us all, though we sent Him there,
He still loved me and you.
There are no stairs to Heaven,
No short cut can you take,
All Earthly things you’ll leave behind,
When that last trip you will make.
Repent and ask God for salvation,
Use not those foolish reasons,
For Time just may run out,
To make that vital decision.
If I didn't love Jesus
My life couldn't last.
If I didn't have my Lord
I'd have no future and no past.
Without Jesus in my life
Every day would be the same.
My life would be a waste,
And I'd have only myself to blame.
Without Him to guide me
I'd stumble along the road.
I'd only run into walls
And never reach my goal.
But, I do have Jesus!
Oh, happy, blesse'd day!
Yes, I have my Savior
To show me the true path, the way!
Do YOU have Jesus?
Please, don't delay!
Let Him into your heart.
Be saved today!
In the beginning,
You were my friend,
Many years have past,
Since way back then.
A little boy moved,
Into the house next door,
Easing the loneliness
Felt nevermore.
Obedient always,
Even in troubled times,
I thank the Lord for,
This always friend of mine.
A smile greets the day,
Humming a happy song,
That is what I'll remember,
As life speeds along.
Hopping fences, jumping rope,
Climbing up a tree,
Where ever you were,
That is where I'd be.
Chasing chickens,
Running just to run,
Playing tag till dark,
We had a lot of fun.
Chewing cane,
Whittling soft pine,
Vowing alliance,
Till the end of time.
Years pass as we age,
Memories treasured,
Families again meet,
Friendships measured.
Young boy and girl,
Just about the same size,
Of a prior boy and girl,
Develop a friendship's prize.
Listening in as they talk,
Warms hearts, yours and mine,
Vows of friendship spoken,
Until the ending of all time.
Preparing to depart,
Hearts will always be
Bound of friendship,
Alliance reigns true.
Chasing chickens,
Running just to run,
Boy and girl in play,
We pray for years of fun.
Sitting around so lonely
With no one with which to share
I seemed lost in a world of turmoil
Was there someone that would care
Turned to something from deep past
And offered up a prayer
For many years I lived on silent
Not caring where life led
Forgot my Lord who's suffered for me
Thought of myself instead
Today I saw I should again look for
A belief to keep me in good stead
I guess I'd been complacent
Just needed a good shove
To turn back to the Lord I'd forgotten
Who was watching from above
And when I'd join the flock again
He'd shower me with His love
Went out into quiet countryside
Where the gentle breezes blow
Spoke quietly to the Lord in prayer
What I said, He'd surely know
Asked for a sign He'd heard me
In a way that I would know
The sky above was clouded
As I asked the Lord to be my guide
Thought back to days so long ago
When told, "Believers will be justified"
The clouds seemed to be parting
As the heavens opened wide
The sun did shine so brightly
As if lit up for me
A weight from my shoulders lifted
By that light that I could see
I'm sure it was a sign the Lord was giving
How He'd helped to set me free
Freed from my life of turmoil
I would no longer feel the pain
Or that dreaded lonesome feeling
I would not meet again
For I was now part of that Kingdom
Where the Lord does truly reign
Now looking down into the valley
I stopped again to pray
Saw the darkened sky above me
Broken by sun's bright ray
When the heavens opened for me
On that special day
God has His own way of answering prayer,
And helping us our trials and pains to bear.
An answer may come when day is done.
Or when a new dawn brings a new sun.
God's answer may be different than we expect.
Before He answers He may guide us through tests.
To see if we really deserve what we ask.
To see if we can bury our willful past.
The answer may come in a whisper barely heard.
Or in the sweet, sweet song of a Summer bird.
But one thing is certain when God answers our prayer,
We must be ready, and listening, and waiting there.
The next time you have a burden too heavy to bear
Ask God to take it, He always answers prayer.
He told me
He is coming soon
Are you ready
Morning, night or noon
You will have no warning
Suddenly, the clouds will part
The sky will open
Angels will appear
Trumpets will sound
There will be many tears,
So many will be left behind.
What a shame to lose out
On our promised Heavenly home
The price has already been paid
Jesus gave His Precious Life
So that we could have Eternal Life.
We all are sinners
None of us are perfect
Just say a little prayer
Asking Jesus to live in your heart
To wash away all your sins
Then repent and live a life for Jesus
Accept Him- Honor Him
And His Heavenly Word
Your Heavenly Home is Waiting
He Honors His Promises
In this awful world of sin,
There are trials on every hand.
Dark storm clouds are moving in,
And hovering over our native land!
There is trouble up ahead.
And though men search for elusive peace,
The Bible has plainly said,
Violence will only increase!
There will be wars and rumors of war,
And earthquakes and famines in many a place!
Because men's hearts have wandered afar,
A righteous judgment they will surely face!
In the Bible Jesus foretold,
That in the last days,
The love of many would wax cold,
As they increased their wicked ways!
Sinner's hearts will fail them for fear,
Of the things which then shall be!
Ah, but our Lord's appearing will be near!
He's coming back for you and me!
So, with wonder in our hearts,
We shall lift our longing eyes,
As our Saviour gloriously parts,
With His hands, the Eastern skies!
Christ will give a mighty shout,
On that grand majestic day!
Then from this Earth we'll be called out,
And with Him be caught away!

Jesus promised to be my Friend forever!
He said He’d go with me all the way,
In sunshine or rain,
Laughter or pain,
From break of dawn,
Until the ending of day
Jesus promised He’d be with me in the valley!
The “Lily” and “Rose of Sharon” He will be!
He will hold my trembling hand,
And say, “Child, I understand!”
“Have no fear; you are safe here with Me!
Jesus promised to be with me on the mountain!
Ah, there my soul will soar to awesome heights!
Oh, what joy it is to know,
That wherever I may go,
He will always be my Guiding Light!
Jesus promised me a home up in Heaven!
He’s gone away my mansion to prepare!
Those jasper walls and streets of gold,
My wondering eyes shall behold,
When my joyous soul shall enter there!

To the Family of Cynthia Miller,
I thank God and I thank Cynthia for what she did for me!! Upon my initial employment with the FAA, it was Cynthia Miller that reached out with the Christian hand of love and shared with me the knowledge and experience that I need to do my job. She provided guidance and condolence during a time when my wife was dealing with breast cancer; simply Cynthia was a survivor too. I truly know that she knew JESUS. God gave his only Begotten Son, but he now has Our Sister. “Rest-On My Sister, Rest-On” I Love You and keep that smile - down on me from Heaven.

"My Dwelling Place"
Lord you have been my dwelling place
All my days and through the years,
Each new day, you sends your love,
You covers me with everlasting care.
Every day, I need you Lord,
Your love surronds me with a flood,
I will exalt You, my greatest friend,
You are mine today, and until the end.
Lord you are my hope, my living joy,
You are the same although I stray,
I hear your voice as you softly speaks,
Make me a vessel, today, Lord I pray.
I ask you Lord to expand my life,
To the depth of your love so divine,
When I reach that beautiful river,
Sitting with Jesus for ever and ever!
"God's Promises"
God promised me, His dying love,
God promised me, a home in heaven,
If I live to please Him down here,
He will guide me until I get there.
He promised He would stay with me,
Journey with me through every trial,
He only ask that I make room for Him,
He longs to enter and live within.
When I'm sad and feeling lonely,
It feels like God is so far away,
Then each time I call to Him I find,
He says, Child, I was here all the time.
He promised, He will never leave me,
His love for me will remain the same,
He will forgive, and see me through,
For what He promised, He will do!!
He sent His Holy Spirit to remind us that
what He promised He will do. God wants us to
enjoy life to the full. Although because we are
christians we are not except from pain and hurts.
Yes many times we fail God but the Holy Spirit
keeps reminding us that all things will work
together for our good and His glory. As we daily
go to Him our mind and thoughts are renewed.
We dont understand all the things that come our way
we do know that God is in all things. His promises
are sure and His compassion never fails. If you are
going through a difficult time just know that God
has been there before. He tells us to rely upon Him
always with all our hurts and cares.
We can claim His promises, He gives peace in the midst
of every storm. God just ask that we seek His will and
live close to Him daily. God will get victory over
every trial. God is so loving and kind what He promised,
He will keep. If God brought you through it, He will
bring you through it!! As we strive daily to become more
like Him we do not know the plans that lie ahead for us
but we can depend upon God's promises, we claim His
word and wait daily upon Him. Yes sometimes it seems
like forever waiting for God's promise, but remember,
God is always on time, He is never late. He always keeps
His promise. Let us keep the faith and claim Jesus.
He does not only promise as we journey through life
here but it's for all eternity..
"Be Strong In The Lord"
Yes, storms will still roar around us
But our God is still near,
And with Jesus as our shepherd,
We never need to fear.
What a wonderful God, when trials come.
Who do we turn to? What do we say,
It's Jesus we find with arms opened wide,
I'm here, My Child, right by your side.
He knows each time the sparrow falls
Sometimes it's wings do break,
Each time we find ourselves hurting,
Always to Jesus our hurt we can take.
Jesus today looks down upon your life
Each kindness you do, just pleases His heart,
Be strong and courageous in all you do,
Jesus is with you, He will see you through.
The good life is peace that comes from above
He shows us daily with His tender Love,
We need to grow strong, and depend upon Him,
Each new day, sweet blessings He sends.
"Moments of Doubt"
We have moments when we feel God has left us,
when the dark clouds blocks His gentle smile,
but when we pause in the hush of His holy
presence, we hear His whisper, Child I've
been here all the while....Love you Jesus!!
Beautiful Heaven~*
My beautiful Lord is coming for me
He is coming to bring me home,
He'll wrap me with His cords of love,
And bring me to my home in heaven.
I'll lay down all my burdens and cares,
For a beautiful home prepared for me,
He'll welcome me with His strong love,
I will enjoy all the pleasures you see.
Many will greet me as I enter in,
Oh! What a thrill will be mine,
Being wrapped in His cords of love,
Singing, Oh what a Savior is mine!
I'll walk on streets of purest gold
Oh what a lovely sight, I'll behold,
Angels rejoicing around God's throne,
Many loved ones to greet me home.
~H- E- A- V- E- N~
H- Holy, holy is our Lord almighy
Who waits for us near heavens gate,
To fill our hearts with love and peace,
What a thrill to look upon His face.
E- Eternal pleasures waiting inside,
Loved ones waiting with arms open wide.
I've been waiting for you how happy I am,
At last you have meant the great I Am.
A- Angels singing praises to the King,
He is worthy, my praises I will bring.
I'll walk on streets paved in gold,
My time there will be just wonderful.
V- Verily, Verily, I say unto you,
I have your mansion prepared for you,
My Savior walks just ahead of me,
To prepare me for, My Eternity.
E- Even though Lord we face trials here,
Nothing will compare to a home so fair.
Until then I will press in close to You,
Just kind of waiting to enjoy the view.
N- Never again will we suffer hurt or pain,
For God alone will be the showering rain,
Won't you cast all your burdens upon Him,
He promised peace, as he comes to reign.
~God's Invisible Hands~
God's loving hands are holding me
Through many trials His hand I see.
No, we cannot touch His scarred hand,
But how He holds us again and again.
His lovely hands were scarred for me
I'll praise Him throughout eternity.
The hand of God wraps me so tight,
He holds me gently day and night.
It does not matter what the trial
He always understands the pain,
He reaches down to dry the tears,
And gently whispers, do not fear.
The beautiful hands of our God
Lifts us up and calms our fears,
There is healing in our Lord's hands,
Feel Him, He is with you till the end.
"Scripture God's Word"
I will not forget you! See, I have engraved
you on the palms of my hands.
Isaiah 49:15b-16
He sets a seal on the hand of every man,
that all right men may come to a knowledge
of His creative work. Job 37:7
You will make known to me the path of life;
Fulness of Happiness is in Your presence;
Pleasures are in Your right hand forever.
Psalm 16:11
Clap Your Hands All Ye People” – Psalm 47
~God's Invisible Hands~
God's gentle hands are oh so warm they
reach out to you and me. We feel so
safe in God's invisible hands. No we
cannot touch them but how we feel them
at times so close. I do believe when
God looks upon His hands He do see
us His creation. When we see God's
hands we are reminded of the pain He
bore at Calvary ...He bore it all in love
and He says I would do it again.
Oh, what a Mighty God we serve. God
will never forsake His own...His eyes are
forever watching from His throne. He has
made known to us the path of life and in
His presence there is fullness of joy. We
are not just His creation we are engraved
upon His palms for all eternity. He is
the first and last and for evermore!!
"Jesus My Flame"
Jesus is my living flame
His kindling love sets me aglow,
He offers to all His loving flame,
He is your hope, just seek His face.
More and more He stirs our hearts
He waits to give you, His sweet love,
He is the Lamb for sinners slain,
He took my pain, He'll come to reign.
How wonderful to talk to Jesus
My beautiful Savior loving with grace,
Let us worship and praise heavens diadem,
Someday we will view His lovely face!
Breathe upon me today my Lord
Fill me with your love and power,
Let the mighty winds from heaven,
Keep me safe, til I reach my haven.
My hurting heart God will mend
He will shelter me under His wing,
He came to be my Savior and friend,
I am His, "I'm a Child of the King"!
I can trust heavens diadem to lead me
Under His strong wings I feel so safe,
I'll stay within my Father's care,
He promised to be always near.
"Jesus Is Love"
I believe God wants His children to
fulfill their purpose here on earth. When
I get to heaven what will Jesus ask me?
Did I do what was required of me? Did I
do my best to please Him here? I do want my
Lord to be satisfied with me. Our dear Lord
sends many blessings and supplies each need.
The Father's heart is full of love for His
children. He forgives, He mends broken hearts,
He heals, and He gives life to all who will
call upon His precious name. He will save.
satan has nothing to offer, but Jesus
offers Eternal life for ever and ever.
We sing so much about heaven it just
fills your soul with joy. To have sweet
thoughts of heaven keep us going from day
to day. It is our story and song to give
praises to Jesus each and every day. We are
looking for His coming, listening for the sound
for He will return to bring us home with Him.
We'll sit in heavenly places with Jesus and
talk to those who has just gone a step ahead.
He waits daily for us to call out to Him and
give Him all our cares and trust Him to do what
we as humans feel is impossible to do. Jesus
whispers everthing is going to be alright...
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will
pursue me all the days of my life, and I will
live in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6
I am overcome with joy because of your
unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles,
and you care about the anguish of my soul. Psalm 31:7
God You Can Calm"
God you can calm our hurting hearts,
You always sends your love and care,
You are so loving, tender and kind,
Come in your sweetness, you are so divine.
I'm a child of the King,
My name is written in crimson red,
He is coming back to take me home,
Jesus is alive, He is not dead.
God is our hope, He is our joy,
Abiding in Him none can destroy,
Oh, that we'll press in closer to Him,
Our wonderful Savior, Lord touch me again.
God is the secret for each new day,
We will hold to His unchanging love.
Always seek Him with all your heart,
Victory is ours, God wants to be a part.
"Jesus Can Calm"
My children, I just long for you to come daily
into my presence and talk to me about what ever
concerns you. My throne room is always open and
its always room to enter in and be alone with Me.
I just longs to wrap you in My arms so you will
feel so much alive in my love. May you always wait
upon the Holy Spirit as it speaks to you daily.
As you listens and obeys your heavenly father you
can plainly see the signs of the times all around
us. Many times God has to shake us and wake us
up so we will be aware that God is still in
control today. May we always yield ourselves to
Him and allow the Lord to work in our lives.
Often times we may ask,Why me Lord? Why not me?
No matter what, Jesus will never leave or forsake us.
He says you are mine and nothing will happen that
we will not work it all out. We'll walk together
this narrow road and God will fight our battles
for us. He says I will guide you through each climb.
How safe resting in the arms of Jesus. When I
need a friend to talk to I fall upon my knees
and call to my Father in heaven. He comes to me
with such sweet peace. The Holy Spirit is faithful
to show us our needs and reveal God as the answer.
Jesus wants us to call upon Him moment by moment
not wait for any specific time. It is so important
that we do come to our heavenly father daily,
and seek His wisdom and guidance so when the big
storms come into our lives we have Jesus to hold on to.
Lets surrender our thoughts and lives to Him each day.
We do not know the future, but we do have today
and lets live as if it was our last day to live.
Today God is still calling for His children to
listen and be wise, for it is a great storm coming
called, God's great judgement day and I pray we
will be ready to enter into the ark and not be one
day too late. Listen as He speaks one more time
to your heart today!!

I light this candle
In your name
Say a Prayer
Lord keep me sane.
Loving you now
As I did then
Missing you
I can't contend.
Your body so weak
with spirits low
I was so selfish
Please don't go.
Now all alone
I think of you
Oh, my love
God's promise is true.
