Trusting God and His Word!
Psalms 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall
strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
Psalms 73:26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but
God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

*.*Despite The Trials*.*
I’ll continue loving God despite the trials
Despite the pain the sorrows and Satan’s many wiles.
I’ll never forget all God’s done in my life
Not the least of which is helping me to face the strife.
I’ll never forget what feeling unloved did to me
And the joy I felt learning I was loved unconditionally.
I’ll never forget the pain of crying my self to sleep
Feeling so unworthy and full of defeat.
Then one day my eyes were opened and I could see
God the Father loved even one such as me.
I’ll never forget having been forgiven of my sin
Or the way it felt inviting Jesus to come
I’ll never forget the new me being born
Or learning I forever and always have a Savior to count on.
I’ll never forget having prayers answered by God
Or feeling Him beside me over the steps I’ve trod
. .
Once there hadn’t been a day in my life I didn’t feel odd
Yet there was one who accepted me just as I was.
Not only accepted me but showed me I have worth
That He had a reason for placing me on this Earth.
Until I’ve fulfilled my destiny Satan done what’s mine to do
There’s nothing at all I have to fear from you.
My love for God is one thing you can’t defile
No matter the hardship and despite the trials!

**What I’ll Leave Behind**
I feel a longing in my heart
A yearning I can’t explain
An unknown place I’m seeking
Away from this world of pain
A place where there’s peace and love
A land of perfection I’ll find
Oh, such a contrast in that place
And the one I’ll leave behind
I want sit by a peaceful stream
Just rest my weary soul
Where Jesus Christ is the light
And a story not yet been told
They say the walls are jasper
The most elegant you can find
What a sweet and precious sound
Compared to what I leave behind
The world I live in is filled with woe
Wars and crime constantly prevail
‘But all that would be left behind
When toward this other land I sail
All the pain we must endure
Is constant in my mind
Sin, shame and the devils deeds
Is what I’ll leave behind
Look inside my heart I ask Thee Lord
To see just what I feel
You see my soul needs to be set free
And to Your command, I’ll yield
I’m packed up and I’m ready now
You may call me any time
I’m looking forward to that day
And to all I’ll leave behind

~*When I Think Of Calvary*~
Oh but for the love of God I've known
Oh but for His mercies to me He's shown
I might have strayed away, who knows?
When I think of Calvary, I think of Home
I feel an ache in my heart when I ponder
Pf blood shed on that cross up yonder
What a cruel death He died on that cross
So souls like you and I might not be lost
Excitement in the air as I think of him up there
When he ascended back to His Father in the sky
Nothing's to compare as He rose up in the air
To prepare a place of riches oh so fair
A mansion that awaits as I step into the gate
And the Son of God will be the light alone
Two thoughts go together death and life forever
When I think of Calvary I think of Home
Now my spirit soars even higher than before
When I wake up with Heaven on my mind
Walking on a street of gold we'll be no longer old
Men's mind cannot contain what all we'll find
Loved ones gone before part from them no more
All trials and tribulations will be o'er
We'll be with God's Son His will have been done
We will celebrate in Glory forevermore
As death draweth near I do have some fears
Of the transition I'll endure along the way
I will leave at His command He will hold my hand
And old Jordan will roll back for us that day
He'll split the eastern sky some wont have to die
As He gathers His saved ones that's His own
In a twinkling of an eye we'll soar into the sky
When I think of Calvary I still think of Home

There's A City
Up there, my love is a City
Where the Son of God is the light
I feel I can almost touch Him
As I lay here in agony tonight
To be free from pain would be wonderful
To breathe good and run along the shores
To see all my friends and my loved ones
All my precious family that's gone on before
Up there my love is a mansion
There's one for you and there's one for me
Troubles we had down here is forgotten
We'll rejoice be happy and so free
Best of all we'll see Jesus our Master
He gave His life once so we could be saved
I want to lay my head on His sweet shoulder
I'll thank Him but never can repay
We've been given a lot of years here together
A special family He Blessed us and all
I know our time is rolling up soon
We will walk softly till we hear our call
Up there my love I will meet you
Whoever Jesus calls first to go Home
To a wonderful and glorious Heaven
I know it will just feel like Home
