You are not physically present
I know only too well
But in my mind and heart
You will forever dwell

Why did you forsake me?
I've ask a million times
Did you not ever love me?
Could I have been that blind

You had ask me to wed one day
A ring you placed on my hand
I loved you with all my heart
Beside you I'd ever stand

You held me with such tenderness
I felt sheltered in your arms
I dwelled each night on the love words
You spoke with your sweet charms

I never had a clue you'd leave
The seeds were perfectly sown
With you always in my arms
And children of our own

Why did you forsake me?
Did you find another love?
But it will never be as true
For mine was sent from above

Thos deep brown eyes and raven hair
Is before my eyes all day
Even when I try to sleep
They still wont go away

Come back my love come back to me
Don't let our plans befall
Hold me as you did before
And tell our love to one and all

I will show to them my ring
And wish upon a star
I'll go where ever you desire
There's no place that far

I'll give you all my love
True I'll always stand
I will be your woman
And you can be my man

Why did you forsake me?
No bitter words were uttered
No deceitful lies were told
On one against the other

If you don't come back
I can't bear to face another day
My life has been so miserable
Since you went away.

Why did you forsake me
I pray to God above
To send me back my angel
My one and only love

There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience."
Hebrews 4:9-11 (NKJ)

What if you somehow knew
That today would be your last
Could you look up with outstretched arms
Or ponder on your past

Would you need to say a prayer
To make sure things are right
Ask yourself –how would I feel?
If the Lord should come tonight

Could you have spoken kinder words
To help a troubled soul
Could you have witnessed just one time
The Lord’s name to uphold

Could you have walked that extra mile
To help someone in need
Could you have spared that extra dime
A small child for to feed

Do you always have a smile to greet
A neighbor or your friend
Do you take time to show them how
On Jesus to depend

If you still feel that touch from Heaven
Then you’re very richly blest
You can rest in peace and sleep
You’ve done your very best

Then when it’s time to leave this world
Be it morning noon or night
You may be assured my friend
Your mansion will be bright

Precious Lord

Precious Lord take my hand
Lead me on, let me stand
Oh that old song has been so dear to me
As I have traveled this weary land

So many times I have failed
Too embarrassed to even stand
But all I really had to say
Was Precious Lord take my hand

I have found he will never fail me
I have found His promises are true
He promised to stay with me
Till I bid this world adui

Many nights at the hour of midnight
When my burdens were so great
No peace could I find or comfort in my heart
I had to stand still and wait

Stand still and see the Salvation work
The Bible tells us so sweet
And when that Blessings comes around
It’s a feeling like you’re now complete

Precious Lord take my Hand
Lead me to a better Land<
Take me us me Bless me Lord
That I might fully obey your Word

When that upper window opens,
And those mighty Blessings fall
Oh Praise God it is so precious
And its free to one and all

Just keep your hand in Jesus
Hold on as tight as you can
Of what peace and contentment
Precious Lord hold my hand
