What is death? Some see it as departure,
never to return, anywhere!! Some see it
as a relief from their pain here. Some
see it as simply escape from the agony
of this world. And some simply refuse to
even think of it, would rather deny it.
Yet, from the moment of birth we are
destined to die..
I see death as God's reward when our
work here is done - our meeting with
the Great Almighty. What a day that
will be too. I will not call it on,
that is not my choice, it is His. But,
when He calls I will be ready. Are you?
Jesus said:
In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto
myself; that where I am, there ye may be
also. John 14:2,3.
For we know that if our earthly house of
this tabernacle were dissolved, we have
a building of God, and house not made with
hands, eternal in the heavens. --11 Cor. 5:1.

Just a Glimpse of Heaven
I saw the Third Heaven the other night, awesome it was to see.
I only had a glimpse or two of how wonderful Heaven will be.
'Tis beauty beyond measure, like the glittering of the brightest stars.
Yet, this was so much more, with hope for no more hate or wars.
There was a valley and sloping up a hill. I could, so clearly, see
Designs and colors of jewels, shapes that fit together so perfectly.
Joy arose up inside me. The tears in my eyes began to fall
Upon the ground that I knew was Holy and Jesus was over all.
When I saw Jesus inside the Heaven, His beauty unsurpassed
As the glittering mountain and treasures I looked on past.
Just a glimpse of Heaven, and how real it 'tis, is all I need to know.
And, when this life is o'er, with my sweet Lord, I know I'll go.
He awaits His people there and maybe He wants me to tell all
So, when we're gathered together in faith, He will come to call ...
Coming in a cloud in all His Glory, as they saw Him go away.
I treasure the dream, but wonder 'why me'? Was it a special day?
I am just a regular lady, now. 'Tho I was near a child then,
When I saw the third Heaven and thought 'what could it have been'?
I am not learned or of high esteem, unless loving Jesus makes me so.
For, it wasn't jewels that caught my eye but the way He loves us so.
My Father Shall Take Me Home
Many more miles to travel; many more places to see
I travel with my Father, many places to be.
He shall not leave me stranded; He will seal the way.
Come and go with my Father, it will be your happy day.
I fear not the height of mountains, nor winds that blow,
For my Father watches o'er me every place I go.
He shall not flounder. He knows the route true
Just give your heart to Jesus and He'll watch after you.
My Father shall come to me, as He did His Son on the cross
He hung there without mercy, but took away our loss.
He is the fairest in ten thousand. He took the chore.
He has all His many children; each one He doth adore.
He is my gentle Father. He loves all who believe in He
Who, hung on the old cross, to win for us, (a Victory)
A marvelous Victory for all, that on Him believes
Then when He comes to reap, our souls He will receive.
Come, stand beside Him. Let all know how much you love
This Father is of Heaven and earth, who will take us above.
Heaven is home and that is where He will take me that day.
Come, go with me; He would be happy to take us all the way.

IF ROSES GREW IN HEAVEN.
If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
A BUTTERFLY LIGHTS BESIDE US.
"A butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam...
and for a brief moment it's glory
and beauty belong to our world...
but then it flies on again, and although
we wish it could have stayed,
we are so thankful to have seen it at all."
To My Dear Family
Some things I'd like to say,
But first of all to let you know
That I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from Heaven
Where I dwell with God above,
Where there's no more tears or sadness
There is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
Just because I'm out of sight,
Remember that I'm with you
Every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
When my life on Earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
And He said I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again
You were missed while you were gone,
As for your dearest family
They'll be here later on.
I need you here so badly
As part of My big plan,
There's so much that we have to do
To help our mortal man.
Then God gave me a list of things
He wished for me to do,
And foremost on that list of mine
Is to watch and care for you.
And I will be beside you
Every day and week and year,
And when you're sad I'm standing there
To wipe away the tear.
And when you lie in bed at night
The days chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you
In the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on Earth
And all those loving years,
Because you're only human
They are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry
It does relieve the pain,
Remember there would be no flowers
Unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
Of all that God has planned,
But if I were to tell you
You wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain
Though my life on Earth is o're,
I am closer to you now
Than I ever was before.
And to my very many friends
Trust God knows what is best,
I'm still not far away from you
I'm just beyond the crest.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
And many hills to climb,
But together we can do it
Taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
And I'd like it for you, too,
That as you give unto the world
So the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody
Who is in sorrow or in pain,
Then you can say to God at night
My day was not in vain.
And now I am contented
That my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along the way
I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody
Who is down and feeling low,
Just lend a hand to pick him up
As on your way you go.
When you are walking down the street
And you've got me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps
Only half a step behind.
And when you feel the gentle breeze
Or the wind upon your face,
That's me giving you a great big hug
Or just a soft embrace.
And when it's time for you to go
From that body to be free,
Remember you're not going
You are coming here to me.
And I will always love you
From that land way up above,
Will be in touch again soon
P.S. God sends his love.

WHY? ~~~~
Perhaps one day we’ll understand
Why God decided to take your hand
And lead you into Heaven above
surrounded by his tender love.
Never does a day pass by
that we don’t ask the question why?
Why did God take our precious son?
Was it something we had done?
We hope to face the Lord one day
and ask him why you couldn’t stay
on earth with those who loved you so,
those who wanted to see you grow.
We mourn for the things that will not be,
for the things with you, we'll never see.
the fun and games we'll never share,
for special times when you won't be there
No more to see your smiling face,
Nothing will ever take its place,
In our hearts you will always stay,
While we await that 'One Sweet Day'.
That 'One Sweet Day' in Heaven above,
Where we will meet and affirm our love.
Once more our arms will hold you tight,
As in God's presence we'll reunite.
Until that day, we must live our lives
Ensuring each memory of you survives,
And feel your presence, ever near,
each time we shed each painful tear.
"See you in Heaven", you'll hear us say,
as you watch over us every day,
Then when our lives on earth are done
We know you'll be the one to come.
You'll take us gently by the hand,
and lead us to God's Heavenly land,
where all together we will be,
our, once more, happy family.

Death is nothing at all...
I have only slipped away to the next room...
I am I and you are you...
Whatever we were to each, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak it to me in the same way you always used.
Put no difference into your tone,
Wear no false air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect, without the ghost of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolutely unbroken continuity.
What is this death but a negligible accident.
I am but waiting for you for an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner.
All is well.

WHEN A LOVED ONE'S GONE
Those we love remain with
us, for love itself lives on.
And cherished memories
never fade because a
loved one’s gone.
Those we love can never
be more than a thought apart.
For as long as there
is memory they’ll
live on in the
heart

In tears I saw you sinking,
I watched you fade away.
You suffered much in silence,
you fought so hard to stay.
You faced your task with courage.
Your spirit did not bend,
and still you kept on fighting until the very end.
God saw you getting tired.
When a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you and whispered "come to me".
So when I saw you sleeping So peaceful, free from pain.
I could not wish you back
to suffer that again.
