Mom, Gloria and fellow family:

Dear LORD, I thank you for the very life and person of one, JOHN ROBERT WINFIELD. I thank you for the paths he walked; the trails he blazed; the provisions--food, shelter, clothing, security and vision--he provided; the hard core discipline that kept us in line and out of the pokey and that I now use myself in my family which I never thought I would be as strict (you are not going to get in that car; nothing like an educated fool; I don't want to hear a rat ...; no public drinking, you can have ONE at home plus others). Mom, Gloria, the LORD will not leave or forsake you. Lean on HIM in your time of need and know that I am here as well. In the words of Micah 6:8, DAD lived a wonderful like and did what God expected and wanted.

AMEN!
