Margaret Fry Obituary

Margaret Davis Fry, 85, of McKenney, passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas Wade and Allie Saunders Davis. She was the co-owner operator of McKenney Dry Cleaners, a member of Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church, and was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John N. Fry Jr.; two daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Dale Fry of McKenney, Vicki Fry Martin and husband, Stan, of DeWitt; a special and wonderful granddaughter, Allison Dale Martin of Dewitt; nieces, Wendy Braithwaite of Kitty Hawk, N.C., Nancy Pollack of Urbana; nephew, Gordon Davis of Chester; other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 2008, with Pastor Karen Workman of Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
