Remember ME
To the living, I am gone.
To the sorrowful, I will never return.
To the angry, I was cheated.
To the happy, I am at peace.
To the faithful, I have never left.
I cannot speak, but I can listen.
I cannot be seen but I can be heard.
So as you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty,
Remember me.
Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, and your memories.
Of the times we cried, the times we fought, and the times we laughed.
For if you always think of me, I will never have gone.

OFFICER T. CLAYBORNE,

WE EXTEND A HEARTFELT CONDOLENCE TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. MAY GOD'S PRESENCE BE OF COMFORT.

What Can Comfort You?
What can comfort you
When a loved one is lost,
When the pain is so great
And your world?s been tossed?

What can calm you
When no words know how,
When the load is hard to bear
And you need relief right now?

What can guide you
When you?re not sure which way to go,
When the mountain seems too steep
And you?re in the valley so low?

What can uplift you
When you can?t see this trial?s end?
Only the arms of the Lord
And the prayers of a friend.

Lord, I'm tired and so weary

And I must confess, a little bit blue

And I am counting on you

Lord to carry me thru

Life's storms and hard times
Often seem hard to bear

Ah, but so good to know

That you do care

Sometimes it's so hard Lord,
To feel Your presence near me

And again I find myself tossing

On life's turbulent sea

I've made so many mistakes
Lord Trying to find my way

Nothing is ever intentional

You know that to be true

And by faith I am living

And counting on You

There are decisions, difficult to make
I don¹t always know Lord

Which path I must take

I ask for your guidance

Lord, You know that I do

But sometimes Lord seems like

I can't hear from you

Grant me please Jesus,
A message from you

Help me Lord to hear your voice

Ring loudly and true

For you know Lord, as always

I'm counting on you

Down on my knees

Lord I will surely come

Yes, life hands us burdens

Often so hard to overcome

But I know Lord you're always so true

And once more sweet Jesus

I'm Counting on You

Today I sing a new song,

It bubbles from deep within

I am forgiven, I am loved,

Gone is all my chagrin.

No matter what the day will be,

My soul has taken wings

Though thunder rolls on dark days,

Jesus Christ is my everything!

Yes, today I sing a new song,

Jesus has taught me well

Singing chases the blues away,

On holy things I'll dwell!

When I wake up in the morning,

I say, "Thanks, Lord, for this day!"

And He walks along beside me,

Though my feet are mired in clay!

He shares with me in the garden,

The garden of my searching heart

He digs out the weeds of self-destruction,

And gives seeds of angelic love a start!

The lack of love is a worldly problem,

It's the reason for broken homes and war.

Almost everyone is too busy,

To become a friendly contributor!

"LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF'

But who takes the time to see

The heavy hearts around us,

There's a real loss of sympathy!

But when we follow God's instructions,

Our love will help pave the way,

To happiness and peaceful hours,

For which we all should pray.

Today I sing a new song,

With a heart that's filled with love

And I'm on my way to God's heaven

On the wings of a gentle dove!

After flying through the clouds, I was taken to a rainbow.

Not to either end, but to the top! What a show!

There an angel showed me all four corners of the earth.

The beauty of what God created. The place of His Son's birth.

I could see the manger so clear As the crowds all mulled around.

I could hear the first Baby cry. What a happy, joyous sound!

Mary, with the help of an angel-- And Joseph as he waited.

All were looking at Baby Jesus-- He was all they had anticipated!

From the arc of the rainbow We slid down to one end!

That was an exciting ride I'll tell you!

From the top of eternity, down in a spin!

I looked for a pot of gold but never did see one there.
It was a storybook tale been told and I looked around everywhere.

Then the angel took me back To the top of the arc in the sky.

To show me other amazing things, So beautiful, all I could do was cry.

"It's alright to read a fairy tale," The angel told me as we flew,

"But the real truth will always prevail; What God has written will come true."

Remember when you see a rainbow - The promise God gave to us.

How He will never destroy us with floods. He loves us all and delights in our trust.

Sometimes I'm overcome with doubt,

When I try to read God's Book.

I must be very dense, I guess,

For I look, and look, and look.

I read His Book most every day,

A lot of it's not clear.

I re-read many passages,

I staunchly persevere.

Some days I think I see the Light,

Other days, I'm not so sure.

But, often when I turn a page,

I find words that reassure.

Now, God, please send Your guiding hand,

I truly want to know.

Why do I sometimes miss the point,

Am I just dull and slow?

Or is my mind so cluttered up,

With useless, worldly things.

That there's no room for godly words,

And the benefits they bring?

Let me find a place alone,

Just for You, Your Book, and me.

Then let my eyes be humble tools,

With which Your words to see.

Teach me how to concentrate,

How to shut the whole world out.

Help Your word be clear to me,

Make the time I spend devout.

Because there's many parables,

Let me have time to think.

Please slow me down and quiet me,

To make Your thoughts distinct.

Please help me, God, to understand,

You know my every need.

I pray to do the best I can,

Please bless me, as I read.

My eyes haven't seen, nor have my ears heard what the Father has in store
But when I hear the sound of a sweet singing bird, I'm closer than I've been before
To that heavenly home, built by God alone, according to His perfect plan.
Where the only thing there that's been made by man are the scars in the hands of Jesus.

Yes, I'm headed for a home built by God alone.
Hallelujah, Praise the Lord I am.
Where the only thing there that's been made by man
Are the scars in the hands of Jesus.

When I see a mountain covered with snow that's fallen from heaven above,
It makes me feel small, hardly nothing at all, to know I'll be a part of
That mansion world where the gates of pearl are opened by an angel band,
And the only thing there that's been made by man are the scars in the hands of Jesus.

Yes, I'm headed for a home built by God alone.
Hallelujah, Praise the Lord I am.
Where the only thing there that's been made by man
Are the scars in the hands of Jesus.
Where the only thing there that's been made by man
Are the scars in the hands of Jesus.

IF ROSES GREW IN HEAVEN.
If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.

A BUTTERFLY LIGHTS BESIDE US.
"A butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam...
and for a brief moment it's glory
and beauty belong to our world...
but then it flies on again, and although
we wish it could have stayed,
we are so thankful to have seen it at all."

To My Dear Family
Some things I'd like to say,
But first of all to let you know
That I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from Heaven
Where I dwell with God above,
Where there's no more tears or sadness
There is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
Just because I'm out of sight,
Remember that I'm with you
Every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
When my life on Earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
And He said I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again
You were missed while you were gone,
As for your dearest family
They'll be here later on.
I need you here so badly
As part of My big plan,
There's so much that we have to do
To help our mortal man.
Then God gave me a list of things
He wished for me to do,
And foremost on that list of mine
Is to watch and care for you.
And I will be beside you
Every day and week and year,
And when you're sad I'm standing there
To wipe away the tear.
And when you lie in bed at night
The days chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you
In the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on Earth
And all those loving years,
Because you're only human
They are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry
It does relieve the pain,
Remember there would be no flowers
Unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
Of all that God has planned,
But if I were to tell you
You wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain
Though my life on Earth is o're,
I am closer to you now
Than I ever was before.
And to my very many friends
Trust God knows what is best,
I'm still not far away from you
I'm just beyond the crest.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
And many hills to climb,
But together we can do it
Taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
And I'd like it for you, too,
That as you give unto the world
So the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody
Who is in sorrow or in pain,
Then you can say to God at night
My day was not in vain.
And now I am contented
That my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along the way
I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody
Who is down and feeling low,
Just lend a hand to pick him up
As on your way you go.
When you are walking down the street
And you've got me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps
Only half a step behind.
And when you feel the gentle breeze
Or the wind upon your face,
That's me giving you a great big hug
Or just a soft embrace.
And when it's time for you to go
From that body to be free,
Remember you're not going
You are coming here to me.
And I will always love you
From that land way up above,
Will be in touch again soon
P.S. God sends his love.

In tears I saw you sinking,
I watched you fade away.
You suffered much in silence,
you fought so hard to stay.
You faced your task with courage.
Your spirit did not bend,
and still you kept on fighting until the very end.
God saw you getting tired.
When a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you and whispered "come to me".
So when I saw you sleeping So peaceful, free from pain.
I could not wish you back
to suffer that again.

I count my blessings everyday
That God put me in your pathway,
For I was lost and all alone
Facing trials on my own.

But my God knew, that I needed you
To make me smile, and help me through
The storm that almost took my life
And left me empty, filled with strife.

Now you can see why I love you
With a blooming friendship ever true
For you have brought out the best in me,
Now my smile is finally free.

I will thank God forevermore
For you have made my spirits soar
I now have hope, the storm will pass
And I will be free to sing at last.
