THANK YOU SWEET LORD

Thank You Lord for the blessings You give
For Your love and guidance each day I live
Every breath I take is a blessing from You
I have the assurance that Your love is true

Thank You Lord for my family dear
The ones away, the ones near
Thank You for the true friends I have found
You sent them to me when trials abound
Those whom have prayed a little longer
For the ones I love to be stronger

Thank You Lord for Your healing touch
For each friend and those I love so much
Those that have Faith and Love in You
Strengthed me in times of need to begin anew

My Prayer is their lives and mine shall always be
Faithful and believing always in Thee
When it seems my load is heavy and trials will not cease
Thank You sweet Lord for Your Anchor of Peace

It seems I depend on You more each day
To listen to Your answers as I pray
Each day and night I shall say, Thank You Lord for long as I live
My life is in Your hands, my soul to You I give~

God Walked With Me

God walked "WITH" me,
as I walked with "HIM."

HE walked with me then and even now,

through troubled times,

To fulfill HIS written vow.

His anchor held through the troubled sea,

When my sails were torn,

HE watched over me.

Through the trials of

sadness and pain,

As the rain vanished,

then came the rainbow.

"HE walked WITH me."

The story of my life with the LORD

in poetry cannot be told.

The Bible has been my guide,

to tell His story of old.

A story to witness my Faith

in HIM each day, Some act of

Love or words to say.

"HE walks WITH me"

STILL

HE walked with me along each road,

HE will walk with you, help carry your load.

Give your life to God above,

HE is in control with HIS Love.

FAITH is the victory, it is the key,

when we remember Calvary's Tree.

Our Lord gave HIS life for you and me,

to save our souls and set us free.

"HE walks WITH me and I walk with HIM"

May HE restore HIS Blessings

on all this day.

As we bow before HIM and humbly pray.

Each time I wander out

on the beautiful beach

I gaze across the sea the

other side only blue clouds reach.

In the instant at all the wonder

I stare my heart tells me

God put it there!

If we could only see the treasures

that lay beneath the ocean floor

can we not see the invitation to

God's open door?

Come live with God -

give Him your heart

His love is there like an open book

just as the sea if we only look.

The sea God made in perfect

awesome wonder all the inhabitants

no man could match without blunder.

For me it is a symbol of

my Faith in God above He reveals it

every where in His heavenly love.

So, it is upon the sea I gaze

within my heart to God I Praise!!

When evening shadows gather nigh,
And twinkling stars light up the sky,

I hear my Master say to me,
"I made it all for you to see!"

When morning breaks with the sun rise,
I see the beauty in my Master's eyes,

I remember His tears when on the cross,
He died for all that were lost.

Slowly, as I awake to the sun's ray,
I recall in the grave my Master lay,

Oh, but on the third day there,
My Master arose without a care.

With a song in my heart and a prayer I must say,
Thank you God for this, my Master's day.

The greatest day known since time began,
They named it Easter in every land.

Softly as the sunset gently goes
Hymns sweetly rising above
Treasures of youth remembered
Each one a Psalm of love

Should a storm rage inside
Ever wanting to clear my mind
No place from God could I hide
It is then Psalms for Him I find

In childhood days Scriptures memorized
Not to be forgotten through the years
This Awesome Prayer was my prize
The sunset Psalm dries my tears

Do not stand on my grave and weep,
i am not there, i do not sleep,
i am the diamond glints on snow,
i am the sunlight on ripened grain.
i am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush.
i am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
i am the soft stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry:
I am not there, i did not die

May you take comfort in these words
We feel your pain, Weeping may endure for a night but, Joy come in the morning.

Remember ME
To the living, I am gone.
To the sorrowful, I will never return.
To the angry, I was cheated.
To the happy, I am at peace.
To the faithful, I have never left.
I cannot speak, but I can listen.
I cannot be seen but I can be heard.
So as you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty,
Remember me.
Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, and your memories.
Of the times we cried, the times we fought, and the times we laughed.
For if you always think of me, I will never have gone.

Death is nothing at all...
I have only slipped away to the next room...
I am I and you are you...
Whatever we were to each, that we are still.

Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak it to me in the same way you always used.
Put no difference into your tone,
Wear no false air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect, without the ghost of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolutely unbroken continuity.
What is this death but a negligible accident.

I am but waiting for you for an interval
somewhere very near
Just around the corner.
All is well.
