I was deployed with Samantha to saudi arabia in 2007. I rember sitting with her in our PDP (perimiter defence postion...tower) for 10 hours a day. i rember her calling her husband and talking for what seemed like ages...she was really happy. she was far more happy then a lot of us over there. kepping a positive attitude was just part of her daily routeen. seeing her with a negitive attitude seemed impossable, somehow, she was always happy and cheerful. weither we where searching cars for explosives and contraband, or cycling in "Come Spin Da Night With Carter" spin class after a long day of work. it boosted out morale just having someone else that was so uplifting. she did love to draw. they asked people to come up with drawings for our squadron coins. me and her came up with a "team america" based coin, that poked fun of our leadership and their excessivlly strict rules. needless to say, they shot us down, but not before everyone got a good laugh in. another security forces member we where deployed with, from my squadron (48sfs, raf lakenheath, england) informed me of the accedent that clamed the life our fellow security forces defendor, our and our friend. my my heart goes out to both her and her husbands family, but expecally robert..i know how much she loved you, she talked about you all the time. rember the times she called you while she was on duty? i was the guy that was with her for those conversations...she loves you still...stay strong
