Margaret Beatley Obituary

Margaret Alice Beatley, 84, departed this life Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at her home in Colonial Heights, Va.

Margaret was the devoted wife and homemaker of Clarence Aubrey Beatley for 57 years.

She is survived by her children, D. Kim Beatley (Kim E.), Janice B. Andrews, Peggy B. Blake (Rick) and Cheryl B. Beville (David); grandchildren, Kevin Beatley (Tiffany), Ryan Beatley (Katie), Kristen Beatley, Michelle Beatley, Robert Shawn Andrews, Steven Andrews, Korey Benson (Kristina), Chris Beville and Justin Beville; stepgrandchildren, Noel Benson and Courtney Inman; great-grandchildren, Avery Grace Beatley and Samantha Lynn Beatley; as well as her sister, Dot Moore (Bob).

In lieu of flowers it is suggested that contributions be made to Hospice of Virginia, 7231 Forest Ave., Suite 100, Richmond, VA 23226, or Alzheimer's Association of Greater Richmond, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23860. There will be a graveside service in the Mausoleum at Southlawn Memorial Park at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008. Visitation for family and friends will be immediately after the graveside service at Immanuel Baptist Church, 630 Lafayette Ave., Colonial Heights, Va.
