Margie Coleman Obituary

Margie D. Coleman, 86, of Hopewell, passed away on Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Lewis C. and Blanche Thompson Davis, and was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Johnson Coleman. Mrs. Coleman was a member of Cameron Avenue Church of Christ, Colonial Heights.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Coleman and wife, Jean (Mrs. Coleman's caregiver), of Hopewell; grandchildren, Christopher R. Coleman of Missouri, Dion L Coleman and Lane J. Coleman, both of Hopewell.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, in the Cameron Avenue Church of Christ, 601 Cameron Ave., Colonial Heights, with Mr. Mark Dailey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 530 E. Main St., Suite 200, Richmond, VA 23219. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
