Carol Carper Obituary

Carol Denise Carper passed away on Oct. 26, 2008, at the age of 47.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy Andrew Carper; her mother, Helen Mann of Chester, her mother-in-law, Nell Carper of Chesterfield. She will be missed by her two sons, Brandon Waggie and Drew Carper; two granddaughters, Peyton Michele Waggie and Kinsley Nova Waggie of Colonial Heights; sister-in-law, Karen Strickler and her husband, Frank. She is also survived by her two brothers, David Mann and his wife, Lynn, of Dewitt and Wayne Mann of Chester; two sisters, Teresa Maxey and her husband, William, along with their son, Hunter, of Chester and Donna Davis of Dry Fork, Va., and her two sons, Jason Davis and Weldon Davis, both of Danville; and several aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 19600 Holloway Ave., Matoaca, at 1 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to her church in her name.

I just found out about Carol's passing and my heart is saddened. Carol and I grew up together and were best of friends all through high school. We lost touch through the years and our paths crossed many years later. My prayers go out to her family, she will be greatly missed.
