Alfred Sauneuf Obituary

Alfred Sauneuf, 82, of Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008 at his residence.

He attended Lakemont Baptist Church in Petersburg.

Alfred was the son of the late George Joseph and Elizabeth Allen Sauneuf, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae Cubbage Sauneuf.

He is survived by his daughter, Gail Marie Sauneuf; a brother, Oliver Sauneuf of San Francisco, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Winnie Jenkins of Chesterfield; two sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, with the Rev. Robert McIntosh officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.

Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23058. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
