Lawrence James Obituary
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Loretta James; his parents, Hilda James and Lawrence E. James Sr. of Prince George; three children, LaShawn Heineghan of Winston-Salem, N.C., DeJuan Gee of Richmond and Malik Delk of Waverly; two stepsons, William Jackson Jr. (Janet) of Waverly and Kevin Jackson of Jacksonville, N.C., a brother, Andrew James (Jenesia) of Prince George; four sisters, Erice James of Hopewell, Yolanda James, Beyonce' James, both of Greensboro, N.C., and Cynthia James-Harris (Eddie) of Petersburg; four aunts, Ida Mae Hall of Prince George, Addie Bell Burton of Newport News, Frances Tyler (Thomas) of Prince George and Lillian James of Petersburg; three uncles, Andrew James of New York, Herbert Lee James (Edith) of Prince George and Thomas James (Mary) of Newport News; two goddaughters, J-Mari Flowers of Waverly and Tatyana Walker of Prince George; a father-in-law, Tommie Sims of Waverly; a mother-in-law, Willie F. Sims (Ben) of Waverly; two brothers-in-law, Larry Sims Sr. (Tammy) of Waverly and Samuel Walker (Brenda) of Laurel, Md.; two sisters-in-law, Arizona Sims-Curley (Joseph) of Stony Creek and Telesia Sims; five devoted cousins, Thomas Tyler Jr., Anthony Taylor, both of Prince George, Theodore Williams of Waverly, Poppa Seb Tyler and Keith Tyler; three special friends, Theodore Williams, George Taylor and Clifton Perry; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Lilly of the Valley Deliverance Center, Waverly, with Bishop Marvin Drew officiating. Interment will be held in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Waverly. The family will assemble at the residence one hour before the service.

I have many memories of my relationship with "Buck". I hate that I was not their to pay my respect to someone that I consider a true freind. Just know that I share your lost. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
