Deloris Slaughter Obituary
She was the daughter of the late Howard B. and Edith Seal Lane. Mrs. Slaughter retired from Titmus Optical after many years of service as a lens presser.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William G. Slaughter; an aunt, Gladys S. Traylor; her three angels, Randy and Carolyn Slaughter, and Debbie Hinton; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon, Va., with the Rev. Ivan B. Perkinson officiating. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the grave. The family will receive friends at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2008. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
