Beatrice Turner Obituary

Beatrice Hardy Turner, 80, of Colonial Heights, Va., formerly of College Park, Md., passed away on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008.

She was the widow of Mason T. Turner, the daughter of the late Robert and Hazel Dray Hardy, and was predeceased by a sister, Mary Martin; and two brothers, Robert and George Hardy.

Mrs. Turner is survived by two daughters, Diane O'Dell and husband, Ken of Colonial Heights, Va., Lynne Adams and husband, Ray of Woodbridge, Va.; six granddaughters, Jennifer, Meghan, and Becca O'Dell of Colonial Heights, Va., Taryn, Heather and Lori Adams of Woodbridge, Va; a brother, Walter Hardy and wife, Dottie of St. Augustine, Fla.; also several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3701 Conduit Rd. Colonial Heights, Va. 23834, with the Rev. Al Thorne officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., one hour prior to the service.

If desired memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Wesley United Methodist Church.

Dear Diane and Family,
Although I knew Bea for just a short time, I loved and respectd her. She was a fine lady with a great sense of humor. I will miss her. We will all miss her at Bon Secours Retirement Community.My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
