Albert Keys Obituary

Mr. Albert Lee Keys, age 84, 1505 Lincoln Place, Hopewell, departed this life Thursday Nov. 20, 2008, at John Randolph Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 19, 1924, to the late Sarah Holmes and William Albert Keys. Albert was employed by Continental Can Company and a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Hopewell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Keys; a grandson, Shaun Studivant; a brother, George Keys and two sisters, Gladys Milton and Katie.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a son, George Keys of Hopewell; three daughters, Shirley Studivant and Paulette Hendrix both of Hopewell, and Hilda Moorman of Little Rock, Ark.; a brother, James Keys of Baltimore, Md.; a sister, Sarah Thorne of Baltimore, Md.; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held noon Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Friendship Baptist Church, Hopewell, with the Rev. Dr. Carl Johnson, pastor, officiating. The interment will be at the Memorial Garden Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 11 a.m.
