Judy Wells Obituary

Judy Ellen Adkins Wells, of Petersburg, was born June 23, 1955 and died Nov. 18, 2008, at her residence. She lived life to the fullest, was employed over 30 years in various states with the Waffle House Restaurants. She was also employed as a construction worker in Killeen, Texas, for several years and always had a smile on her face and spoke kind words. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. She was predeceased by parents, Cinda Marie Ward and Dallas Roosevelt Adkins; and husbands, George E. Fittz and Howard Keith Wells; brothers, Jackie Dennis, James and sister, Janis.

She is survived by daughter, Cyndamarie Gunn and husband, Nigel; favorite niece, Tabbatha Marie King and husband, Jeff Davis; special nephew, Dwayne "Dobie" Egan and wife, Jennifer; her loving sister, Sheila Joyce Vasquez and husband, Angel, of Fort Worth, Texas; loving brothers, Jerry Robert, Junior Elgia and wife, Jo Beth, Jona Hubert, Johnny Rae Boles and wife, Becky, Jennings Clayton and wife, Regina; one special sister-in-law, Constance J. Moore "Connie;" and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A special thank you to the Hopewell Waffle House, whom she felt were her extended family.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

You have left this world a better place by giving us Cynda..May god be with you,..to Cynda know as long as she is in your memory and heart she will never be that far away.. as a friend,I wish you much love, and happy memories as you deal with this tremendous loss...love heals all, and knows no bounds.. debi V.

Judy was my mother, and best friend. she will be missed. Not only by me , but by her brothers, sister, and all her co workers at the Hopewell Waffle House.

Please remember her and keep the memories of her with you always.
