Abraham Lee Obituary
Abraham Lee, of 457 Roundtop Ave., Petersburg Va., departed this life at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, Va. Abraham was retired from Roper Co., Petersburg, Va. after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, Douglas and Ruby Lee; three brothers, Chester, Willard and Daniel.
He leaves to cherish his memories a wife of 42 years, Yvonne C. Lee; two very devoted daughters, Lisa Lyon and Kimberly Lee of Petersburg, Va.; one son, Andre Lee of Petersburg, Va.; four granddaughters, Shanel Lanaye, Demetria, Jazmaine and Kendall; five sisters, Mary Thomas (Nathan) of Portsmouth, Va., Shelia and Sandra of Richmond, Va., Deloris Lane of Petersburg, Va., and Estelle Mallory (Robert) of Philadelphia; two brothers, Samuel Lee of Greensville, Va., and Leon Lee of Macon, Ga.; mother-in-law, Alice Chambliss of Petersburg, Va.; five sisters-in-law, Angela LeGrande of Chester, Va., Carolyn Wells (Wayne) of Chester, Va., Colbert of Chester, Va., Margaret Evans of Richmond, Va., and Winnie Anderson of Petersburg, Va.; two brothers-in-law, James Chambliss of Carson, Va., and Anthony Chambliss of Richmond, Va.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends, among them very special friends of Roper Lumber family, Margo Hill, Linda, Carolyn, Mitchell, James Urquhart and his devoted friends of Rome Street.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph A. Simmons Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Dinwiddie Memorial Park. The immediate family will assemble at the residence, 457 Roundtop Ave., Petersburg, at noon. Pallbearers and friends will assemble at Tucker Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. The family request that food be omitted. A memory video may be viewed at the funeral home.
Services under the direction of Tucker Funeral Home, 415 Halifax St., Petersburg. A.A. Tucker, funeral director.

I will truly miss my brother (bootcie) I will miss his voice saying hey (tee) I'm coming to go fishing with you,but not on the boat !! pier only..He was A very devoted family man.Husband, Dad,Grandfather, Brother, Brother inlaw Uncle. I miss all of my love ones, My dear sweet mom, Rubie L. Lee, Dad, Andrew D. Lee,Brothers, Chester,Willard, Daniel,Abraham. they all shall alway's remain in my pleasant memories.
