Rosetta Hall Obituary

Ms. Rosetta "Ella" Hall of 743-B Mt. Airey St., Petersburg, Va., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Dec.13, 2008, at 30 E. Fillmore St., Petersburg, Va.

She was a member of Faith Landmark Ministries, Richmond, Va. Rosetta is preceded in death by her only son, Alphonso Sparks; mother, Mary Baker; stepfather, Milton Baker Sr.; four sisters, Mary Frances Butts, Shirley Byrd, Ernestine Tucker and Patricia Dillard.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two brothers, Milton Baker Jr. and Ernest Baker (Margie); devoted cousins, Genora Lawrence, Dianne Bates and Joyce Gordon; a special friend, James N. Mitchell; one brother-in-law, Henry Byrd; eight nieces, Sheryl Sidney (Elliot), Tamica Butts, Tiesha Dillard, Frances Boone (James) Meralena Baker and Adrian King, all of Petersburg, Va., Tawn Parham and Tara Parham, both of New Jersey; three nephews, Corey Baker (Barbara), Carl Tucker and Derrick Tucker, all of Petersburg, Va.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008, at the chapel of J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, Va. The interment to follow at the Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery, Petersburg, Va.

Honorary and active pallbearers will assemble 12:30 p.m. at the funeral establishment.

The family will assemble noon the day of the services and receive at residence 30 E. Fillmore St., Petersburg, Va. The family also may be contacted by calling (804) 862-9975.
