Ruth Hughes Obituary
She was the daughter of the late Hugh & Bessie Vaughan Bailey and the widow of retired Chief Warrant Officer William Jamie Hughes.
Ruth was employed as a fulltime sales representative at Thalhimers and a part-time sales representative at J.C. Penny's and retired after a combined time of 15 years dedicated service. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie H. Winall of Stallings, N.C.; sister, Bessie Chumney and husband Sonny of Lunenburg County; brother Hugh Bailey Jr. and wife Audrey of Wylliesburg; one niece and one nephew. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association / Greater Richmond, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
