Dondre Jones Obituary
He entered into eternal rest and peace at an early age on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009 at his residence. He was born Sept. 29, 2008 to Shandreeka Blount and Dondre Jones.
Left to cherish his short, sweet memories are his devoted mother, Shandreeka Blount of Virginia Beach; father, Dondre Jones (Angela) of Petersburg, Va.; two brothers, Deshaun Sutton and Jarelle Sutton of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Sharniece Sutton, Tanyee Blunt of Virginia Beach, and Najah Jones of Petersburg; two grandmothers, Lisette Sutton (Angelo) of Petersburg and Polly Jones of Dinwiddie, Va.; grandfather, James Winfield of Dinwiddie (Melissa); two devoted aunts, Jennifer Bowers of Virginia Beach and Joyceiln Fitzgerald of Dinwiddie; five uncles, Demario Sutton (Michelle), Michael Sutton (Gloria) of Petersburg, Joseph Winfield (Faye), Patrick Jones, Warren Jones of Dinwiddie; and a host of other relatives and friends, among them a very devoted and special friend, Dominic Saunders of Virginia Beach.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday at Olive Branch Baptist Church, Dinwiddie, Va. with The Rev. Kevin Northam officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church on Monday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Relatives and friend will assemble at 1105 Melville St., Petersburg at 11 a.m. The family may be contacted by calling 804-957-5792 and the father at 804-590—1440. Services are under the direction of Tuckers Funeral Home, 415 Halifax St., Petersburg.

shandreeka,i am sorry to hear of your lost,you have my deepest sympathy, i know your heart is heavy but as the days and weeks go on try to remember the joy that lil dondre brought to u and your family. god have his reason and now your lil angel is fly around heaven look down on u as your special grandian angel, weeping may indugle for a night but joy come in the morning. keep your faith and hold onto god hand and never let go of it. you and your family are in our prayer.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family.You have never met me,but I saw the write up online.I too lost a baby in 2001. She was 4 and half months old.No one but God can ease the pain that you bare.Every day will be a challenge but hang on to Gods enduring love.You are not alone ,my heart and prayer goes out to you.
