Lola and I were saddened to learn of the loss of Mrs. Clements. We have known Graham for a long time. I have the greatest respect for Graham and value his friendship. I have no doubt that Mrs. Clements was very proud of her son. While the loss of a parent is grievous, the hope of the resurrection guaranteed by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is comforting for it means we will see them again, and without sickness and death.

I did not know your mother personally, but I have known you for years. The type of person she was is reflected in the type of person you are: friendly, kind, compassionate, and a man of integrity. We share your loss. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4; John 6:40)

Bob, Rob and Graham: I am personally delivery hugs to you from Virginia, Ohio and Hong Kong on Saturday. I am sorry to hear about your loss. Kitty was always so warm and welcoming when I visited with you all in McLean. It makes me smile to reflect back on those memories. Love, Beth

I was saddened to hear of Kitty's sudden passing. Though I have spent much of my life on the other side of the continent, or the other side of the world, I have always looked forward to those opportunities when I could spend time with Kitty, Bob and the rest of the Clements. I will never forget the hospitality she unfailingly provided, her hearty laugh, and her distinctive voice as she lovingly made a fuss about anyone she greeted. You are all in my prayers.

Our prayers of strength are with the family during this difficult time. I didn't personally know Kitty but I do know her son Graham and his family and she raised two fine young men who give of themselves to the community, family, church and those in need. They are a wonderful reflection of a wonderful mother and father.

We were all dismayed to learn of Kitty's passing. There are so many years of happy memories of her from McClean, Raleigh and the reunions and birthday parties. We join you and the boys in your sorrow and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Beth is coming to the Saturday service to represent the families--Herschede, Aders, Kirwin and Bednars.

We are shocked to read about Kitty in the Richmond Times Dispatch. Our love and sympathy go out to Bob and the boys. We won't be at the service but will be thinking about you. Our love. John & Joann
