Lena Kuehn Obituary

Lena Montaquila Kuehn, 90, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009.

She was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Rosina Montaquila, and the widow of Gerhard Paul Kuehn. Mrs. Kuehn was preceded in death by her son, Paul Gerhard Kuehn Sr.; five sisters; and two brothers. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she served in many capacities throughout her lifetime. She was devoted to her family and friends, and her lovely spirit will be missed by all.

Survivors include her daughter, Ann K. Gee of Orofino, Idaho; three grandsons, Anthony R. Gee of Fairfield, Conn., Robert Paul Gee of Boise, Idaho, and Paul G. Kuehn II of Chester; one granddaughter, Courtney Kuehn of Chester; one great-granddaughter, Lauren Gee of Fairfield, Conn.; a son-in-law, Robert R. Gee of Orofino, Idaho; a former daughter-in-law, Robin Hensley of Chester; three sisters; and two brothers.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 501 Compton Road, Colonial Heights. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
