Virginia Fisher Obituary

Virginia T. Fisher, 89, of Colonial Heights, died Monday, Feb. 02, 2009 in Emporia Manor.

She attended Calvary Baptist and Immanuel Baptist churches and was a retired LPN for John Randolph Medical Center for over 27 years. She was the daughter of the later Etta and William Thompson and was preceded in death by her daughter, Marie Bumgardner, and two sons, William A. Fisher, Danny L Fisher and a grandson, Jeffery Bumgardner. Survivors include: her daughter, Barbara JoAnn Jones and husband, Roger of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Bobby Jones, Roger Jones Jr., Mike Beeler, Mark Beeler, Lisa Jones, Cathy White, Pam Call, Kim Marble, Jennifer Wells, Danny Fisher Jr. and Mitzi Fisher; numerous great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004 at 1 p.m. in the Colonial Heights chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with The Rev. David Praither officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
