You will surely be missed and I will love you and cherish all of our memories especially the ones from childhood where I use to stay with you and Uncle James for the entire summer. I know you are amongst the angels and you have now joined all of those who have departed and gone before you. I am sad I did not know earlier, however you will always be in my heart and in my memories. I'll make it to heaven one day and we'll have a heck of a reunion.

Love your niece,
Jane

I loved her & will miss her. There will always be a special place in my heart for Vi. She was so fortunate to have a special person like Dawn in her life to help her find joy & love. Mama loved Vi dearly as she did Mama. She kept her promise to Vi & Dawn and helped as much as she could like she told them she would, if Vi moved back here. I know they are having a reunion as I write this now. Thank You Dawn for all that you meant to Vi & did for her. Love Shirley Slaughter's Daughter Connie
