Roy Harrell Obituary

Roy Michael Harrell, 57, of Prince George, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Beverly Harrell and Mary Varney Harrell, and his sister, Phyllis May Trout.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl Mraz Harrell; brothers, William A. May and Larry A. May; mother and father-in-law, Edward P. and Lois Gravitte Mraz; cousins, Sheila Bischoff and her husband, "Mr. Bill," Nancy VanDexter and her husband, David; many other devoted cousins; and many beloved nieces and nephew in the area and in Columbus, Ohio.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009, in Rivers Edge Bible Church with the Rev. Andy Paul, pastor, and the Rev. Wayne Goode, former pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George County. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com.
