Mary Traylor Obituary

Mary Ozmore Traylor, 76, of Chesterfield, formerly of Dinwiddie, died on Friday, June 26, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Garland Ozmore and Josephine Lillian Ozmore and her daughter, Terri N. Traylor.

Mary retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco after 34 years of employment and was a member of Ocran United Methodist Church. Mary also spent many years as a dedicated volunteer for WHF Dixie Youth Baseball.

She is survived by her children, Joseph William Traylor Sr. and his wife, Brenda, Vernon Wilson Traylor and Darlene Denese Jones and her husband, Paul; grandchildren, Stephanie Traylor, William Traylor Jr., Brittany Traylor, Vernon Traylor Jr., Joshua Traylor, Amanda Traylor, Megan Traylor, Melodye Ramirez, Nathaniel Ramirez, David Ramirez, and Trevor Jones and her great grandchildren, Peyton McGee, Cameron Traylor, Neveah Traylor, Bryar Connock, and Tristan Ramirez.

The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, June 28, 2009, from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2009, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

To Mary children and grandchild and great grandchildren I am so sorry to hear that mary has passed on I know that her memories will live on with all of you within your hearts. I am so glad that my family got to know her she was a loving person and so kind that she would do anything for anybody.
