Charles Creswell Obituary
He was the son of the late Charles E. Creswell Sr. and Ellen Ward Creswell, and was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey C. Creswell. Mr. Creswell was a member of Faith Lutheran Parrish, Prince George.
He is survived by a daughter, Bonnie A. Eichler of Richmond; a grandson, Greg Eichler and wife, Cyndi, of Chestertown, Md.; two great-grandsons, Cody and Caleb Eichler; a brother, William Creswell and wife, Jackie, of Sparks, Md.; and a sister, Mary Lou Haase of Zellwood, Fla.; two nieces, Karen Bowling and husband, J. Timothy, of Parkton, Md., and Alyce Bridges and husband, Harry, of Orlando, Fla.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with Pastor Bill Damon officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058, or the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060. Mr. Creswell was a dear friend and was like a grandfather to me. I greatly admired him and he will truly be missed. My heart goes out to his family. I know he is happy now that he is reunited with his wife.

I will so miss your loved one. He had such a strong spirit. I'll miss bantering with him, his jokes, and his beautiful singing voice. May you find comfort in knowing he is at peace now.

Mr. Creswell was well loved by our team at DaVita. We will miss him greatly, but I know he is free now and happy to be reunited with his wife whom he adored.
