Sharon Robinson Obituary

Ms Sharon Jean Robinson, age 55, 247 North Carolina Ave., Petersburg, departed this life Friday, July 3, at her residence.

She was a native of Petersburg, and daughter of the late James and Vernell Pegram Robinson. She attended the public schools of Petersburg and later obtained her GED. She also attended John Tyler Community College and Virginia State University. She was formerly employed at Pre Con for years before it became Advanta Staff. Sharon attended Mount Olivet Baptist Church.

Surviving are: her special friend, Wayne Scott of Petersburg; three daughters, Linette and Felicia Robinson, and Tiffanie Brodrick (Eric) all of Petersburg; a brother, Brandon Robinson of Petersburg; six grandchildren; several cousins and other relatives and friends

A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday from the Chapel of William N. Bland & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg. Interment will be in Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the residence of her daughter, Tiffanie, 115 Jefferson St., phone 255-8622.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the staff of William N. Bland & Son Funeral Home.
