Lisa...I remember the day you were born and your mom use to bring you to my home to play with my son who was just a little older than you! We lost contact through the years, but I always loved her dearly. I was on vacation and didn't know about her passing until I saw your g'mother's obit. My sincere sympathy to you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family. She was my favorite teacher from high school. She taught me so much about literature and my love of reading today is due to her influence. She will be missed so much.

Your mother, Martha, and I were best friends in high school and then drifted apart. She did have a great sense of humor and we always had so much fun together.
I am so sorry for your loss.Peggy Halloway Carter

Susie Hatchett taught me the value of learning and education... even though I didn't realize it at the time.
She is one of the most influential people in my life and I owe her more than I could ever articulate.
Thank You Susie...

We lost a great one this week. Susie Hatchett, thank you for everything you taught me. It was not only Latin but also a great way to look at life. You had an amazing sense of humor. You will never be forgotten neither will those rusty knives. You are a true original!

BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I ARE STUDENTS OF MRS. HATCHETT FROM ST. VINCENT'S. WE ADORED HER AND HAVE THOUGHT OF HER OFTEN SINCE OUR YEARS WITH HER. OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY DURING THIS TIME.

Martha was one of my first and greatest friends at PHS. She made me welcome in her group when I was an outsider coming in. I have to confess, I always loved her dearly, and one of my greatest regrets is that we lost touch after graduation. My deepest sympathies and assurance that I will cherish her memory always

I just wanted to say that I am sorry about your mother's death. We graduated from PHS together in 1961.

Susie and I taught at Saint Vincent's and I learned so much from her! Her sense of humor, her love of teaching, her devotion to the students - these will be her legacy. She was an amazing human being - and will not be forgotten!

When I first started teaching at Prince George High School, Susie was one of my colleagues. Her assistance was invaluable, but her sense of humor was her greatest asset. She was a wonderful human being!
