Susan Mills Obituary
She was the daughter of the late William Herbert and Catherine Wilkins Bragg. Susan retired from Fort Lee where she was employed as a computer programmer. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Lewis A. Mills Jr.; two sons, Dr. Albert Brandt Schraner and his wife Dr. Jennifer Thornton of Davis, Calif., Paul Berkeley Schraner and wife Debbie of Prince George County; grandchildren, Cavan Patrick and Delia Clare Schraner of Davis, Calif.; niece, Laura Eure of Gloucester; nephew, John Brockwell of Petersburg; sister; Phyllis Brockwell and her husband Garland of Petersburg.
The family will receive friends Sunday Aug. 2, 2009, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, Aug. 3, at 10 a.m. in Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Livesay and family friend the Rev. Phillip Mumford officiating. Interment will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University Medical Center, Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
