Frank White Obituary

Mr. Frank White Sr. departed this life Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, after a long illness at his residence.

Frank served in the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his son, Frank White Jr., and mother, Mrs. Grace Ellis.

Frank is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Mrs. Bernice White; one daughter, Ms. Robin Morris of Lynchburg, Va.; two grandchildren, Mrs. Demika Edwards (Varick) of Lynchburg, Va., and Ms. Adrien Morris of Richmond, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Ameyah and Varick Jr. of Lynchburg, Va.; two brothers, Mr. James Ellis Sr. (Joyce) of Richmond, Va., and Mr. John Ellis (Otelia) of Ettrick, Va.; cousins, Mrs. Shirley Williams and Mr. James White, both of New York; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Doretha Briscoe of Lynchburg, Va.; two brothers-in-law, Mr. Robert Bradley (Viola) of Lynchburg, Va., and Mr. Marvin Cheatham (Sylvia) of Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, a very devoted friend, Mr. James Lee of Chester, Va., and Mr. Bernard Parham (Elizabeth) of Lynchburg, Va.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, at the chapel of J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment Inc., 102 South Ave., Petersburg, Va.; the Rev. Lois Battle of Let's Rock Outreach Ministries, Capitol Heights, Md., officiating. Interment to follow at Amelia Veterans Cemetery.

Honorary and active pallbearers are asked to assemble 9:30 a.m. at the funeral establishment.

The family will assemble 8:45 a.m. the day of the services and receive friends at 4414 Carahill Lane, Chester, Va., and may be contact by calling (804) 526-5503.
