I met Cory at the McDonalds playplace a little over a year ago. She had Brady and her two girls and a neighor chiild with her. She was so sweet and attentive to all of her kids. She also looked so beautiful despite having so much responsibility. She was also very upbeat. I was so moved by this meeting with her, I went home and spoke with my husband about what an inspiration this stranger was to me. Then, I had the priveledge of caring for Cory in Labor and Delivery. She continued to shine and she was the light of our unit. What a strong woman who clearly loved all of you in her life. I just wanted you to know that she touched so many more lives than you will ever know- Iwas a mere stranger - and she changed my outlook on life. Thank you Jesus for the time you gave us with this amazing woman.

My prayers are with you always. Cory was always a bright and cheerful site when I would see her. I drove bus for Hallie last year and Abbey this year. Prayers are with you Scott and Family.

My heart goes out to the entire Gesner family. I can only imagine how hard this must be for Scott, considering I myself am a new mom and know how much it takes to care for a new life. I find solace knowing that your beatiful wife is now with our Lord and your loving son Brady. May your faith in God and the love of your family and friends get you through this time. I recently heard of Cory's passing from a friend and upon reading the obit discovered that it was your sister-in-law, I am so sorry for your loss.

Cory was my cousin, and when I was little my father and mother would go to Jane and Wayne's house to play cards. Even though I was seven years younger than her, she always included me in whatever she was doing. She was my idol, I always thought she was so pretty and sweet. Words can not express how sorry I am for your family, and I am also sorry that I lost touch with Cory. I wish I had been able to know her as a mother and a friend. I did meet Brady a few times at family picnics, and he was such a doll. I am so glad she gets to be with him again! My thoughts and prayers with you,

Cory watched our little boy a couple of times when my daycare was on vacation. She was the sweetest most caring person I have ever met. We also knew Cory from Central Christian. We will terribly miss her smiling beautiful face.

On behalf of the EEG staff at Rockford Memorial we wanted to all give our condolences to one of the nicest families we have ever seen. In the health care field their are certain families that just stick with you for a lifetime, you think about them and pray for them outside of work...this is what we did the whole time Cory was with us. Your family was so loving and caring, and touched all of us. She was such a pretty girl, and from what we've heard, one amazing wife, mother, and friend. God Bless her whole entire family, especially her 3 beautiful girls. May you find peace in God's decision.

What an amazing woman Cory has been throughout her short life. She was used by God to touch the lives of so many. And now she is in heaven celebrating with Him. What an amazing family Cory has had. You were all so nurturing and loving. You have all been such an example to others. Through your grief and sorrow you consoled others. You live with no regrets knowing you did everything you could do to make Cory's last weeks the best they could be. You pampered her, bathed her. Gave her manicures and pedicures and did her hair and made her look so beautiful. And you made that impossible decision to turn Cory over into the hands of God, knowing Cory would never want to live her life if she couldn't live it to the fullest. Such a tough decision, yet it's the loving decision which just shows what a loving and compassionate family all of you are! My prayers will be with you in these difficult days, weeks and months ahead. Remember, we grieve but we know Cory is in a much better place. She's whole again embracing little Brady and in the very presence of our Lord. I pray you can find your comfort and your strength from knowing that!

Even though I didn't know Cory personally, I am so sorry for your loss. I have talked to so many people who knew and loved her. I went through almost the same thing that Cory did back in January before giving birth to my son. So, that is why this "hits so close to home". May god be with you and your family at this time. My friend...words will never be able to express how sorry we are for your tremendous loss. Our thoughts and prayers have been and will continue to be with you and your family as you grieve and celebrate Cory’s life. She was an amazing person and we are truly blessed to have known her! There is no question in my mind that Jill and I are better individuals, parents because of our relationship with her and your family. Cory taught us all the true meaning of unconditional love, sacrifice, patience and undying compassion through the care of your son Brady. Brady was a very lucky boy to have parents like the two of you! You provided a normal… loving environment for that boy and in turn gave us all a little lesson in just how precious life can be. I didn't personally know Cory. Several times, whenever I was visiting my family (who attends Central Christian), we would sit in the row in front of the Gesners in church. I fell in love with Brady and grew to understand what an attentive mother and strong woman Cory was.
Cory has been in my prayers daily and God has now brought her home to be with him and Brady.
My most deepest sympathies follow the entire Gesner family. You will be in my prayers as you journey through life without Cory. You remain amazingly blessed with Cory's legacy in her girls!

We knew Cory as a neighbor, a friend, and our boy's daycare provider. She was brilliant in all that she did! Cory was a true beauty. Through my Roscoe business and my wife's daycare, we learned of Cory's illiness and met several people who adored Cory and had only great things to say about her--great daycare provider, awesome mom, overall wonderful person. We prayed for her frequently and will continue to pray for Scott and the girls. We are deeply sorry for your loss.

I met Cory when she was expecting Brady. Then, a year later, we ended up being neighbors on the same street. She was a most amazing woman. A most amazing Mother................with boundless energy. She brought four beautiful children into this world.................and she loved them with a passion. She was a sparkling light in our little Briarcliff Village. I will miss her bright, sparkling smile. I will miss all the love and warmth she showed to all of us on a daily basis. She was as special and beautiful on the inside as on the outside. We will think of you always with love and we will miss you greatly every day. I smile when I think of you with Brady in your arms........................but I cry when I think of your three little girls.............and how they will miss out on being raised by the very Best Mommy ever.
