John Lacey Obituary

Formerly of Monroe, NY

John P. Lacey, 55, of Kingsport TN, formerly of Monroe, NY, went peacefully home to the Lord on June 13, 2008 after fighting a battle with cancer. He passed peacefully at the home of his sister, Anita Hoff in Alto, NM.

He was born to John J. and Martha Lacey on July 22, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY.

John graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School in 1970, and recently retired from Consolidated Edison Company of New York after 35 years of employment.

John is survived by son, Michael Lacey of Port St. Lucie, FL; stepson, Joshua Lacey of Rhode Island; his parents, John J. and Martha Lacey of Villas, NJ; sister, Anita Hoff of Alto, NM; two brothers, Michael Lacey and his wife, Heidi of Monroe, NY, and Richard Lacey of Jacksonville, FL; brother-in-law, Paul Lo Bianco of Monroe, NY; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Lo Bianco of Monroe, NY and brother-in-law, Richard E. Hoff of Alto, NM.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

A memorial will held at a later date in Cape May, NJ.
