Patrick Greene Obituary
Patrick J. Greene, a former employee for the Thruway Shopping Center in Walden, NY, entered into rest on Monday, June 16, 2008 at Elant at Newburgh. He was 52.
The son of Gerald and Patricia Niland Greene, he was born March 15, 1956 in Amityville, Long Island, NY.
A resident of Walden, he was well known for his sense of humor and his love for animals, motorcycles and Jeep Wranglers.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia Greene of Walden; one brother, Gerald Anthony Greene and his wife, Cathy of Newburgh; one sister, Geraldine "Gigi" Hanewich and her husband, John of Montgomery; four nephews: Michael Lovelace, Matthew Greene, Jeffrey Greene, and John Hanewich Jr.; one niece, Crystal Hanewich; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Gerald Greene; brother, Michael Greene and sister, Mary Greene.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 28, at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh, NY, with inurnment of his cremains to follow Mass in St. Mary's Cemetery, Montgomery, NY.
Cremation was at the Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Walden Humane Society.

My Uncle Pat will always be in my heart and memories. He was in alot of pain and suffering for many years of his life but he would always know how to make the best out of any day. I can't recall a day or conversation where he didn't make me laugh. God Bless You Uncle Pat I miss you so much but it makes me feel better to know that You are in heaven now with no more suffering. I will never forget the crazy stories you told me of when you and dad were young. I'm sure you are making everyone laugh up there too! Love You Forever, Matt
