Filemeno Pucino Obituary

Glastonbury, CT

Filemeno (Orsino) Pucino, 85, of Glastonbury, CT, beloved wife of Albert L. Pucino, died Tuesday, July 2, 2008 at Hartford Hospital.

She was born January 13, 1923 in Newburgh, NY, daughter of the late Carmen and Maria Phelomena (Cavo) Orsino.

She had lived most of her life in New York, moving to Glastonbury eleven years ago. She had worked for many years in the manufacturing of ladies hats. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Albert T. and Kathy Pucino of Glastonbury; two grandchildren, David and Lindsay Pucino and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 6 at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Dunstan, Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. There are no calling hours.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway One, North Brunswick, NJ 08902-4301.

The Mulryan Funeral Home had care of arrangements.

I am so sorry for your loss. Phyllis, Al and Jenny were always so kind to my brother and I. We would go across the street for cookies and milk alot. They were all such an inspiration to us.

I remember always being reminded not to pet Corey on the belly because she did not like that. ( I have a cat named Korie now.)

I have a little boy now and hope that he too will find such great friends.
