James Spence Obituary
James Curtis Spence, Sr., of Napanoch, a life long resident and a laborer for Local 17, Newburgh, died July 2, 2008 in Dallas, OR. He was 60.
The son of Albert Clarence and Elaine Brown Spence, he was born May 4, 1948 in Ellenville.
He was a member of the Ellenville Elks Lodge #1971.
He served in the United States Army and the United States Army Reserve.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Kathleen Kuhlmann Spence at home; two children, James C. Spence, Jr. and his wife, Anna of Riverdale, NY and Shelly Jean Spence of Germantown, MD; his brother, Albert C. Spence of Grahamsville; two sisters, Terra Albertson of Poughkeepsie and Shirley Sosis of Napanoch; two grandchildren, Jackson and Grace Spence; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call at Loucks Funeral Home, Inc., 79 N. Main St., Ellenville on Sunday, July 6 from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 7 at the funeral home.
Cremation will be at the convenience of the family.
